I attended an industry event including an afternoon scramble. This is a beautiful course. Great service. The pro shop has everything you need. Practice range available. State-of-the-art gps display in cart to aid in play.

The course is always well maintained and the staffs are great. The course always makes you think about the next shot since all the holes are well designed. You will need to score lower in the front 9 to compensate for the back 9.

Good Service, Great Course, Outstanding RestaurantIt was just one of those days... Perfect weather on a really good fairways and greens while extremely fun to play. The course was challenging especially since this was my first trip at Coyote Ridge. The front nine and back nine seemed that they were from almost two different courses. The front nine warmed you up for what the back nine had to offer. The cart and outside attendant (Jeff) was a pure pleasure to work with. Friendly and actually happy to Have us there. Was nice. I actually wanted to tip him more out of his eagerness and friendliness than the usual "May I take care of your clubs, Sir" approach. The absolute best part of the entire day was the restaurant at the course. The food was simply outstanding... It surprised me with the presentation, quality and quantities. This place could easily be a successful stand alone top tiered restaurant nestled somewhere in Dallas.Go... Spend the Day. You'll be Happy you Did.

Holes 10 and 11 are really tough. The course is well maintained. My only knock on the course is the cost, but it isn't really out of line, they've all gotten expensive.

Really enjoy playing here. From the elevated par-3 number 7, to the possibly drivable par-4 17 (if you cut over the trees), this is a challenging, though not impossible course. Birdies for the taking, but bogeys are out there, too. Sorry to say, but the cart girls are some of the best looking (and friendly...and probably smart, too). Now, I think that they are charging a little much. As of today (7/20/14) the 9am rates are back to $70, which is better. They were a little higher in the spring. Maybe, they lost some greens. So, just check on current rates. I think $70 is the max to play, compared to other courses nearby. Be advised, there is a landfill near the back of the course. Smells are free.Food in the clubhouse was ok, to very good, depending on what you order.Don't avoid if you have never played here.

Coyote Ridge is really two 9 hole golf courses. The front nine is done in the style of a Private Club course, very sculpted and architected, the back nine are more naturalized like a Links course. There are a couple of holes in the front nine where you can't drive your cart onto the fairway due to the amount of water retained by the turf, so try to hit your ball close to the cart path or plan on walking. The Club House is first rate and also has that Country Club look about it. Excellent restaurant with a great view of the course.

Played here a couple of years ago. It is a tough course, but fun to play. This is probably one of the best public courses in DFW.

This course is in very good conditon year round. They take care of their players. The club house is very nice and food is excellent.

We went there for Sunday lunch with our Bible Fellowship Class. I knew it was open to the public but had never been, thinking it was probably fairly expensive. The lunch menu was quite reasonable, the food delicious, nice view and quiet.

My wife and I celebrated our 75th. And 70th. birthdays with a private party with about 75 guests. The staff helped us plan the evening, and everything went off without a hitch. The food was very good. The room was great. We could not have had a better time.

Had 2 foursome there for group outing. It had rained very hard the night before, so the practice ranges were a little soggy. The practice green was very fast despite the wetness. There are challenging holes, especially #10!!Otherwise it was a fun day of golf with good friends. The clubhouse restaurant was really nice too.The wait staff was courteous.

Greens are deceivingly fast and the course has some great holes on the back nine. Played as a twosome and pace was great...pro shop was friendly and outside staff attentive, well worth your golf $$.

I only had lunch in their restaurant. VERY GOOD FOOD. Linens and real silverware, personable waitstaff. A freind of mine played golf and he said it was a good course.

Overall, the course was in pretty good shape, although perhaps a little dry and hard for this time of year in the DFW Metroplex. There was really no cut of rough to speak of anywhere on the course, which really detracted from the challenge. I am convinced that the course must have been rated with rough on the course as it played much easier than the slope and rating would indicate, though the greens were very fast and challenging, but consistent. The service of the staff was outstanding, the new carts were a pleasure to ride in, and the facilities are beautiful. Here's the thing, the course played SLOW, 30 minutes delayed in teeing off, and then playing 15 minutes behind pace for about the entire round added almost an hour to the round. Almost never got to a tee box without the group ahead standing on it. While a marshall circled around to us on the 4th hole and assured us that it was a hiccup that would clear up, this never occurred. Some of the cart guys at the end of the round said that is not an uncommon occurrence. Also, while the conditions were pretty fair, there did not seem to be a signature hole on the course. One par 3 on the front 9 was pretty dramatic, but the apartments with the freeway behind it bordering the hole took something away from it. 18 had some native grasses on it, but the uphill short par 4 seemed over before it even began. This is a nitpick item, but the layout and course design seemed a little different than other courses I have played.Overall, it was definitely worth the $35 dollars all in I paid for the twilight rate. I probably wouldn't spend the weekend prime-time rate as I'm sure it would just be more crowded and move quite a bit slower, and I'll try some more courses before I come back here at that rate. It's really a shame that with excellent facilities and service that the course is so-so and the playing experience is so bad.

My husband and I frequently go for happy hour or dinner and we bring the kids too, although a little pricey for the whole family. Facility is neat, clean, comfortable, the views out the back are lovely and staff is friendly and helpful. Also thrilled with our bat mitzvah reception experience -- Barbara went above and beyond to help us plan and have a lovely affair!
