For a small museum, this place is chock full of interest. there is plenty to see and some of the displays change frequently. there is always something to catch your eye and to learn about the McCook family and the Civil War. The museum is run by the local historical society in conjunction with the Ohio Historical Society and is well kept and offers a great learning experience.

We were there in Carrollton to donate a civil war family picture album, of the McCook family. The museum was so beautiful and so many items of the McCook family. The curator of the Museum, Shirley, was wonderful and her staff was great. It is a step back in time and one visit we will never forget!
