Only open part of the year North Park at Canyon Lake is a fun place for some shore diving.A handful of items are sunk off the beach for divers to discover.Easy entry with parking/campsites close to the water. We always enjoy a dive or two here as well as across the lake at Holiday Lodge. The Comal River night dives are always full of critters and fish to observe.

Love this place. Its only open Fri, Sat, and Sun. I wish it was open every day. To get to the water you climb down rocks so not for some one with mobility issues.

North Park in Canyon Lake Texas is a great place to excercise your scuba skills. With platforms, sunken boats, pick up trucks and motorcycles and depths to 100 feet or more, it is a really nice area to camp and scuba dive. This is a fee paid park but the entrance fees are very low as it is a State Park. Well maintained roads and lake front camping sites very close ot the dive sites and rest rooms located close to the campgrounds, make this a great spot for a week end trip. Being on Canyon Lake, one of the deepest and clearest lakes in Texas is a huge plus. And it doesn't hurt that both Comal and Guadalupe rivers are near by. Therer is a dive shop in Canyon lake fdor your tank fills, rentals or whatever you may need. North Park is a great value.
