This museum has a $5 entry fee for adults, reduced for kids and military. There's one medium sized room with a large collection of demilitarized weapons, military uniforms, and military items. Many of them are donated by locals and include interesting descriptions. There is a small gift shop corner with shirts and toys. The entry fee also includes the adjacent hangar and grounds. The hangar has several working vintage military aircraft (you can schedule very reasonably-priced rides in these by appointment, see website for details and prices-- we plan to do this at a future date), engines, and old equipment. The docent gave us a tour of the inside of the Douglas C-47 Skytrain "Bluebonnet Belle." Really cool! The grounds have a tank, guns, and a few aircraft on display.Good for a quick stop or for military history enthusiasts.
