clinch river adventures

We LOVE Clinch River Adventures. This is the place we go as a family for a day of relaxing fun. They offer 2 hour and 4 hour (if the water level is right) trips. Every time we have went, which is at least twice during the summer, we make a whole day of it. We took a trip down the river, had a picnic by the river, then went tubing again. They also offer kayaks which looks fun. But as a family, we love the slow float down the river. The owners have always been SUPER nice. I highly recommend this to any family who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and have a day of Family bonding.

I live in this region and scheduled a kayaking trip for visiting family, including young children, to show off the beautiful southwest Virginia scenery. I could not have picked a better experience. We were all first-time kayakers, but they were very patient in teaching us (it's quite easy as it turns out). The Clinch River is very mild with barely any rapids, so it was a gentle, peaceful trip downriver enjoying nature.

Loved tubing down the Clinch! Great day on the river! They offered tubing, canoeing, and kayaking on the most bio-diverse river in the USA.
