Thank you for your review. I'm glad you had a chance to try our truffle tasting with wine - it is one of our most popular tastings! We hope you'll come see us again soon -

We attended winemaker 101 last Sunday and had a great time! We joined the winemaker racking some white wine from stainless steel fermenting tanks into wooden barrels. We stayed after for a a tasting and lunch. The tasting was OK, the person we had doing our tasting was not particularly friendly and rather abrupt. When we asked about a reserve tasting, she just said we are not doing that today, later we learned that the reserve wines are sold out. Lunch was good, they had a grill in a tent and their very good restaurant, we ate at the grill because the y had music and it was a nice day.

I absolutely loved this winery. I was not planning to go to this one but came upon it and decided to try it. I am so glad I did. It was my third winery and by far my favorite. The wine was great and I definitely will go back the next time I am in the area.

A Winery with BBQ?!? Yes, please. This is one of my favorite local wineries. I've been here twice and will continue to visit. Good food. Good Wine. Good Customer service!

My wife and I along with our daughter and her fiancé visited last Saturday and had a great time even though this was our third and final tasting of the day. It was very crowded inside but the hostess was very nice and friendly and suggested we go outside to the tent since there chairs and tables out there. That was a great suggestion and we did the tasting outside and promptly bought bottles of the canvas red and canvas white to take home! We sat under tent and enjoyed glasses of the wine while enjoying the guitar player and the beautiful afternoon. The young's got a burger and a hot dog from the grill while the older golf nibbled on snacks which we had brought from home. Unfortunately, we drank the canvas white already and I wish that we had bought more. However, they were a little pricey for us since we are accustomed to drinking the mass produced wineS

My husband and I love going to wineries. Today we tried 868 Estate Vineyard and were disappointed. The wines we tasted were fabulous. If the staff was more friendly and accommodating I would have rated them a 5. First when we arrived we waited for almost 10 minutes before even being greeted. Then when we started our tasting we were rushed. There were two women that started their tasting before us and we were finished with our tastings at the same time. The staff needs to work on their customer service. The wine is great.

We stopped by for wine tasting early on a Sunday afternoon and ended up spending much of the afternoon there. First we did the wine tasting with the food pairing in the tasting room. Our server was very personable and did a nice job explaining the wines as well as the food. It was a beautiful day, so we headed outside under the tent in the grill area and enjoyed some food, live music, and more wine. The food was ok. It was something to eat, but I wouldn't go there for that purpose. Other customers had a good idea of bringing their own food ranging from cheese and bread, to full-blown picnics and enjoying it along with some wine or craft beers (available in the outdoor bar). The wines were pretty good. I've had better and have had much worse. But what this place has going for it is a fantastic setting, beautifully landscaped and maintained, and a good vibe. So for what may sound like a mediocre review, I can say I'd definitely go back. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

It had a great quiet outdoor seating area, it was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. The service was excellent, the food was great, the atmosphere was awesome. Fantastic view!

We went for a wine tasting on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy, but not packed. The girl puring the wine never described what type of wine it was. She had an issue with the cash register/printer paper and left us hanging for 20 minutes without saying a word. We had to ask someone else to continue our tasting. The wine is so-so. When we went, there was hundreds of kids for some event. Thankfully we found a table outside where the kids wouldn't bother us. It was a beautiful location, the wine was so-so, service terrible and too many kids! A winery is a place to go, enjoy nice wine and have a relaxing time...we had the opposite.

My husband and I have made several trips to the vineyard with our children (two teenagers) and friends. I love the fresh, top quality food at the Grandale Restaurant. The view of the surrounding countryside is spectacular. But, best of all, the gracious staff go out of their way to share their passion for great wine. This vineyard is always a pleasure to visit when my husband and I celebrate a special occasion with a romantic dinner. Yet, it is also a great place to bring a group of friends to enjoy wine tasting and relaxing live music.

I came to 868 on a whim and had to wait in line for about 10 minutes. I was initially unimpressed because of the wait time. However, when the young girl behind the counter took my order for their small grill menu and beer order my impression was completely turned around. She apologized for the wait time and had an incredibly positive attitude. I could tell she was very busy but she made sure to make me feel welcomed. After waiting for about 15 minutes, she came around the bar to reassure us that our food was on it's way and that if we had any problems, to come to her. Good customer service is very important and we will return and ask for Arial every time. I would recommend this place to anyone who had a little extra time to spend for the day, the food, wine, and service is absolutely worth the wait (not to mention they have a great beer selection too).

Thank you so much for writing about your recent experience at 868. I'm glad you enjoyed our atmosphere and found the staff to be inviting and knowledgeable! While most of our wines tend toward "dry," our winemaker is debuting a sweet white and a sweet red this summer for those who are looking for something sweeter. On weekends during the spring and summer, we also have a white peach and mango sangria that is wonderfully sweet and refreshing. I hope you will come visit us again soon!

I had been to 868 in the fall with my sister and had an amazing time. We didn't get to try the Grandale Restaurant there so I had been dying to go back ever since. This past weekend, my husband and I went there with another couple and had another wonderful time! The tasting room experience was GREAT! Mary and Kiera and the other young ladies working there were so much fun!! The tastings are generous; and Mary was a great hostess. We went on to enjoy the outdoors with a couple of bottles of wine, cheese and a warm baguette. We played corn hole while listening to music too. So much fun! Then we went to Grandale for late lunch. Staff there was great..food was excellent! I had hangar steak salad, my friend had crab cake salad, her husband had ahi tuna sandwich and my husband had the hamburger. Everything was delicious! We loved the white sangria too!! We went on to another winery down the street and found the tastings were sparse and it just wasn't as fun. We will definitely be visiting here again!!

I was very impressed with this winery. I loved the wines, and the staff was very friendly. It was very crowded (1PM on a Saturday), but we were able to enjoy our self's.

What a nice little find. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their rose was deep in color and flavor, perfectly dry and not sweet. The fresh flowers everywhere were just amazing and added to quaint decor. Live music made the rainy afternoon light hearted fun!
