I go to the Crow about twice a month. I buy furniture pieces, decorative items, artwork. I found a very old, large hand-carved fish that was a little beat up with age (prefect!) and hung it above the TV where it looks fabulous. I buy gifts. There is so much to see. It's absolutely huge and when you think you've walked a football field in distance, there is another building behind it! Love this place. I take all my out of town guests there at least once.

Part adventure, part history, and with much fascination, you've just got to spend your next rainy, cold, or humid and scorching day traveling through the Blue Crow. I've been here at least 10 times, really, and always look forward to driving back to the Eastern Shore to take a fantasy walk through the isles of this enormous collection of all things that live longer than their owners! : ) The prices can vary, for a similar item, vendor to vendor... your greatest task will be remembering where you saw that one item you 've just not been able to forget about... The staff is cordial, and will do all they can to work with you.

The best thing about this place is that it's very big, and has O-So-Much to look through. There are many vendors, each with a unique feel, and plenty of items for sale. I have a pretty good sense of prices and there were no deals here. Everything was marked at the retail expectation, and many items were over-priced. Even so, there was plenty to get at a fair price if you are not bargain hunting. ... I wanted some place to go with my dog. The "dog walk" was not good. There were sharp seed-pods everywhere, and we couldn't let the dog explore. BUT we were able to take our dog through the store, and that's great fun. I'd probably go back again. It's worth a look.

Every couple of years my friend and I love to take the gorgeous scenic views across the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel to the Eastern Shore from Virginia Beach. We love to meander the small towns and browse the Antique shops. The Blue Crow is always on our list for the massive amounts & variety of antiques & "stuff"

I love antique malls but between too odorous air fresheners and a big musty smell....the shops had absolutely nothing that appealed to me. But it was a huge shop, many stores and good location.

I've been here before and going again tomorrow. I have to pay a huge toll (20 dollars) just for the privledge of going here. Here's some things people don't seem to get. Yes, some things are over priced. you have to realize though, the store doesn't set the prices; their clients do. The store just allows people to sell there and doesn't control the prices. So stop criticizing that. Second, there's nothing around for miles and miles and miles out there! So if you don't fish or do water sports or like sitting on the porch with a corn cob, this is the ONLY thing going. And the place is MASSIVE. I've been to many antique malls. This is the largest I've been to in many states... They also have a lot of stuff for the beach/sea. That's because it's where it's located. Stuff is local. To me, that's what a good treasure hunting trip is about. And I see people wanting upscale large furniture pieces. You're in the middle of NOWHERE with no population. Having huge expensive pieces in a lower level of living area just does not make sense. There are no mansions there. It's all cottages, and small houses.. But it's got tonnage! And hey, it never hurts to ask for a discount. I'm going tomorrow. Last I was there they were talking about building a small place where you could get coffee/sandwiches. I hope they did. But I haven't seen a review about that so don't know if they did.

My wife and I always hit the antique stores while vacationing. We are not looking for high-end items, just old advertising tins, glassware and things for our home. I would recommend stopping here if you are in the area. The different vendors have their items displayed well. As is always the case, some vendors seem to overprice their items. Most of the vendors here seemed to have reasonable prices. The front part of the building seemed to have more to look at. If you like old stuff this is a good stop. We will definitely go back when we return to the area.

The Blue Crow Antique Mall looks big on the outside, but when you get inside it is huge! I spent 2.5 hours here and had to push myself to not stay longer. A lot of the items seemed overpriced to me, but it was fun to look and I did see some rare items. I will definitely come back whenever I am in the area.

There are lots of stuff from the various vendors. If you like small knick knacks this is a good place for you. However, if you are looking for large pieces and furniture I didn't think the quality was there.

I have been in this place several times and have noticed that the vendors take a lot of pride in displaying their wares . Why don't the owners do the same , there is nothing attractive about the outside . A little landscaping and maintaining go along . And once you enter it's not much different, not friendly or inviting . The whole place needs a face lift.

I have stopped here many times over the years. The place has so much inside that I try to allow at least two hours. Since I have owned a few antique businesses over the years, it is fun to spot good pieces there, usually at every pretty fair prices. If you ask at the front desk, they will give anyone a 10% discount storewide on any items over, I believe, $20.00 or maybe it's $25.00.There is a very large separate area with tons of furniture/chairs/eclectic things and wall art - it's strictly a consignment area, apart from the antique mall, and you have to know where it is so that you don't miss it - it's good to ask. They offer delivery within a few hundred miles.The staff at the desk has always been polite and efficient but you have to be patient when there are many people waiting to check out.IF YOU ARE TRAVELING WITH DOGS, DON'T MISS THE FREE DOG PARK - SHADED AREA AND H2O.

If you like wandering around for hours amid rows and rows of "stuff", this is the place for you. My husband and son had to be pried away and then only because they were hungry. We got several things that they both had been looking for. Our only complaint is that we found an item that we really wanted, but there was no tag on it to indicate which dealer it belonged to. We asked at the desk and the clerk made some effort to find out who the dealer was and the cost, but stopped looking when her initial efforts were unsucessful. As we checked out, we asked again for the item and were told that if we left our name and telephone number, we would be called when the information was obtained. A month later and the telephone call has never come. Not the best customer service in the world!

My fiancé and I LOVE antique shops and saw this one on our way home. We walked around the store for a couple hours and found a lot of interesting things and spent about $50. (It would have probably been more if we didn't have a packed car but after experiencing their customer service, I'm glad it wasn't.)When we went to check out there were two women at registers and one lady checking out. We figured the other lady would help us. Wrong! She didn't even acknowledge that we were there. There was no, " we'll be right with you" or anything of the sort, just nothing. Finally when she did acknowledge us, she was rude. And repeatedly was sniffing, for a lack or a better way to say it, mucus, back into her throat, while constantly coughing. After she totaled us up, my fiancé asked if they offer military discount. Now I know a lot of places don't but a lot do and it never hurts to ask. At least that's what we thought. This woman decided laughing at him was the best way to answer his question. My fiancé has been serving our country for ten years, three times deployed, her reaction to his question was rude enough for us to NEVER go back, no matter how many items they had that we discussed going back in to buy. Not to mention she didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. I wish I would have caught her name but I didn't think to look. I would suggest going to one of the many other antique stores up and down the coast before going back here, unless you don't mind rudeness. So unbelivably rude. I am still on shock.

You never know what you'll find at the Blue Crow. We've bought chairs, books, Christmas ornaments, salt and pepper shakers, fireplace set and model train accessories.

Here's the basic fact. My partner is cheap and always seeking something unusual at a bargain price. She spent $250 here on four bags of assorted stuff, odds and ends.I spent $23 dollars from dealers who had half price sales.Yes, some of the prices are way too high. But many dealers offered 20-50% discounts. I suspect they were trying to move old merchandise to make way for new spring/summer stock. It worked for us.At 150 dealers, there's a crazy assortment of weird odds and ends. I am always amazed at how many strange and wonderful things there are for buyers to browse.Worth a detour if near VA's Eastern Shore. We spent 2.5 hours browsing. Yep, it's that good.
