This is place is a playground like no other. Not only does it have lots of really creative things to do it also is set up for children with disabilities. My sons and I would play for a while then take a "nature walk" through the woods in Mclean. It gets kind of crowded but they have overflow parking and you never feel like there are too many children!!!

Parts of it are currently under construction. But this is temporary. The biggest drawback to the park is the crowds on the weekends because it's so popular. It's a fantastic playground/park and accessible to everyone.

If you are near McLean and your kids need to blow off some steam this park is great. Has all kinds of climbing and playing activities and is equiped for handicap accessibility. Can picnic here and ride a carousel. Plan to spend at least an hour.

Nice park especially catering to younger kids. Clean, orderly and very colorful playground setup. Parking available.

An unique, colorful playground that is designed with ADA accessibility in mind. As an added plus, it's easier for toddlers and preschoolers to get around. Perhaps the largest collection of riders (horses, cars, planes, etc on giant springs) I've seen in one location. So if another child is riding one, there is literally another dozen available nearby. In the center of the park is a carousal, and walking around at the time was a vendor selling Italian Ice. Also at the center are restrooms and water fountains. There are a few pavilions with picnic tables but they may or may not be reserved for a group/party. At the time we went, part of the park was under renovation (scheduled from Sept to Nov 2014), so were unable to access a third of the park, the rainbow room, "schoolhouse", and maze. I recommend bringing your own drinks and snacks, particularly water on hot days. I only wish there was more seating (preferably shaded) available for adults.*Special note* For parents with more than one or two children, because of the park's layout and size, I recommend coming up with a game plan for letting the children play. Either playing in one of the four sections at a time, or agreeing upon a location to return to. It's easy for the children to run off in opposite directions and/or get lost in the crowd during busy days.

Clemyjontri is worth a visit! It is a huge playground, all accessible, including a merry go round. It is especially nice for toddlers because most of the equipment has ramps so they can walk right on. It is worth the drive. It can be crowded on nice weekends and it does not have a lot of shade on hot days. So I recommend bringing water, hats and sunscreen. Be aware that it is large so you really have to keep an eye on your kids.

Great for families and their kids; kids love this park and have a great time there. I recommend bringing your own cold water; I believe there was shortage in cold bottled water the last time we were there.

You just have to experience it... A wonderland of things to do and to imagine. You can be a horse rider, a pilot, a train or bus or car driver. A whole complex of slides and ladders for tag.

Very nice park but really not near from where anyone one might walk. Near history, Claude Moore Farm, and CIA in Langley, VA.

When my kids were young we brought them all the time. It is a great park for kids under 6/7 years old.

This playground was built specifically for accessibility, with soft-surface ground cover and special equipment. However, it's a fun place to play for all kids, toddlers to older school age. While there are shade structures, there are no trees so it does get hot. A carousel runs at certain times - be sure to get your tokens before you get to the front of the line. There is a pavilion but it is often in use for birthday parties, day cares, summer camps, etc. It's a busy place -- though it doesn't usually feel crowded the parking lot does fill up. There is additional parking just past the park, look for signs.
