creeper trail bike rental

The guys at the rental shop were very helpful finding the sizes of bikes we needed( I am super short... 5ft). We had a very peaceful relaxing ride down the mountain... Great place

We used this company to rent bikes for the Creeper trail. They were friendly and professional. The bikes we used were good quality and in good working order. I would deal with them again. And I would definitely do the bike ride again. It was fun!

We couldn't recommend anyone but this shop! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will not rent from anyone else when we come back. We found out that some of the other bike shops do not give you a repair kit when you leave and we luckily had ours to help a group of ladies who needed some assistance. VCTR provided ours free of charge. There is also a bike ride on the VCT in the summer that benefits cancer research. We will be back for that one! The guys at the Creeper Trail Bike Rental told us about that and they sell the heavy canvas bags that advertise the ride. So thanks, CTBR for doing a great job! We'll be back!

On a day it was suppose to be rainy we decided to leave Belmont and go for a bike ride in Va. we didn't make reservations since this was on a Wednesday we just left and headed toward Damascus Va. since I had been there once without taking the ride. when we arrived we chose the first bike rental and shuttle available ( Shuttle Shack ) since we didn't have res. we put our names on the 1:00 list and went to see the town. Nice small town with a few bike rental and shuttle buisnesses a couple of stores and resturants we were only there for the bike ride and that we did. The shuttle took us to the top of Whitetop Mountain where we began our 19 mile ride back to Damascus. What a good day for us overcast and cool with some misty to sprinkles of rain in August. The bike ride was 98% down hill so it was mostly easy and the scenery was beautiful a stream with a few trout in it ran most of the distance some old houses and barns as well as a couple of old train stations the trees were full of leaves creating lots of shade keeping it cool. Definitely a do again trip.

You've got a few bike rentals to choose from in Damascus. How do you know which one to go with? Creeper trail bike rental is the best! Anna and Tracey are so nice, they treat ya like family. The bikes are very nice, great shape and comfy. Make sure you get a good seat! It cost about 55$ for two people to rent bikes for the day (last shuttle up to Whitetop is 4:30pm) & the shuttle.

These people are always great. Their bikes are nice and reliable! The shuttle always leaves on time!

I'm going to start out with the only reason I am leaving them 2/5 stars - bike number 36 had a problem where the break stuck and the axle was bent...AND the seat was turned at an upward angle that made it very uncomfortable, especially for a 17 mile trip. The service and professionalism was great, I just wish they would have checked all the bikes to make sure they worked. I'd recommend this shop with hesitation, but definitely check your bike before leaving!The other 19 people in my group's bikes did work.

Okay, it was AWESOME!!! You rent your bike, have it fitted to your size, pick a helmet, and you wait, for, 15 or so minutes, get on you shuttle, drive for 45 minutes to white top, amazing. And to go along with it, you get to ride the Creeper Trail. The only Trail I know could dwarf it is the Appalachian Trail. Just, a wonderful experience. And cool thing, when your done, and you take your bike back, when you get off your bike, you feel wobbly, and you just cannot go fast enough of move smoothly enough, and you know why? Because your on your Bicycle for three hours! But, regardless, its just a wonderful experience. Just wonderful.
