This was our last winery visit of the trip and again, end of day on Sunday so we benefited from the access to staff-- very knowledgeable individual and enjoys sharing. We enjoyed most of these wines as well and made 3 purchases (1 a gift). As with all the wineries, just GO and try them and find what you like!

Nice people pouring the wine at a good facility. Two couples but they only charged us for two tastings since one wasn't tasting and one just had few sips. (Maybe they could tell we were in the mood to buy?). We took our time and weren't rushed at all, despite a pretty good crowd. Nothing exceptional from their bottom line but the top tier were very good and not outrageously priced. Bought a varied case and will likely return.

Nice! Circular tasting bar and very elegant surroundings made this a very fun tasting. The beautiful cloth wine bag was an added bonus!

We walked in to find a slow paced tasting room attended by one of the owners. She greeted us nicely and didn't rush us at all. We tried the whites and reds, all were well described. Several had nice tastes for my palate, even though they were on the dry side and I like sweeter wines. All were mature wines without the fruit punch tastes. I could see these pairing well with some of my favorite grilled and smoked meats.

yummy sprakling chardonnay. Pretty location. They had a craft fair going on the day we visited and we did our tasting outside!

,With friends we traveled to meet , we joined to travel to some wine tastings.Great timing we had Elliott as our sommelier, and guide. Our time was filled with trying the wines, spiked with humour and knowledge. We purchased wine for home but left with fun filled memories.

Every place we visited on our girls' weekend was nice, but this place was beyond FUN. The trio of pourers this particular afternoon were a riot -- do not go here if you are in a "serious" frame of mind!

We were the first ones to do the wine tasting this particular rainy Sat. morning. We had the place to ourselves for a short while. Our sommelier was wonderful, helpful, and humorous, but we got to chat and enjoy all the others, too. The wine is wonderful and they have many varieties. The vineyard is easy to get to and in a beautiful setting. If you buy 3 wines you get a discount. Just as we finished, tour van pulled up with a group. Love it that we were first. Down the road is a Monastery that sells gouda cheese made by nuns--perfect complement for the wine. I love Virginia!

We wanted to visit a few of the local wineries but ran out of time. White Hall was close by so we stopped there. It was easy to find and the grounds were quite nice. The weather was a bit brisk so we did not sit outside but in warmer weather, the areas around the tasting room would be quite pleasant. The tasting was $5 per person. I had enjoyed VA wine and cider before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and range of wine that was available. Not all varieties were available on the day that we visited: I believe that we tasted 5 or 6 varieties. Our pourer knew about the wines and the winery, always a good sign. The tasting space is quite nice and there is a selection of wines available for purchase. We bought 2 bottles each of the 3 varieties that we like the best.

On our anniversary weekend, we stopped in at White Hall for a tasting.Just for me, as we just discovered that wife was expecting. We never got past the tasting room, as our private sommelier was most friendly, and the place was very quiet on a Sunday afternoon but the photos lend to a magnificent view out behind the property. The setting is very reminiscent of an Italian villa with tile floor, archways and open floor space design. The wines were quite enjoyable - but the ones that stood out were the Pinot Gris, and the Petit Mensang - and this coming from someone who prefers reds.Parking: open lotFee: minimal tasting feeFood: I believe there was food for purchase availableAmbiance: very friendlyWould recommend: Yes.Would patronize again: Probably if in the area.
