Nice first visit here. Server was welcoming and enjoyable. I really enjoyed one of the wines a lot, others were ok. The lack of food was hard but next time I'll know to pack food.

In the midst of a wide variety of vineyards in this Virginia area Flying fox stands out- their awardwinning wines are beautiful, the prices reasonable, and the tasting room is always welcoming andfilled with interesting people. So the combination makes a wonderful break in any trip and buyingsome of their wine means that you can create some warm recollections at home!

Lovely small tasting room, excellent wines. You feel right at home. Make to pay attention to the artwork that makes up their labels. Staff is warm and welcoming!

This winery tasting room is off-site from the vineyard. The wines were good and the small tasting room was in a good location.

Stopped by this quaint place on a Sunday afternoon - the owner was so kind and the wine was absolutely divine! They also offered a sample of their fantastic mulled wine for the winter season as well. Join the wine club as while this may not be the most scenic of the surrounding wineries, you will appreciate the quality wine and hospitality.

I didn't think much of Flying Fox as I drove up, but I loved all the wines! The view and atmosphere were nothing great, but the wines were fantastic and the value amazing. I will definitely buy their wines in the future!

Stopped in with a few friends while staying at Wintergreen and enjoyed the experience. This is a fairly small tasting room but nicely laid out and the staff took the time to explain their craft.

As part of our drive along the breweries and wineries in route 151, we made a stop here for some wine tastings. The lady who took care of us, along with her dog Carson, were very helpful and friendly. She did a great job explaining the tastes and history of each wine we tasted. I am very partial to reds, but I enjoyed all their wines. We ended up taking some home, since we enjoyed them so much.We even tried to take Carson home after he showed special interest in her toes.... lolNice place to stop for some good wine and great attention to guests.

We loved the wine tasting here. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. We don't drink a lot of wine, but we are about to, as we bought a case of delicious reds and whites.

Flying Fox is a smaller winery, but don't let this make you skip it. The tasting room is still big enough to seat many, and the wines speak for themselves. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Very enjoyable visit!

While visiting Rt 151, this is a "Must See" winery! They offer a nice selection of wines and the tasting room is quaint and beautiful and staffed with knowledgeable, helpful staff. They are also attached to the Bleu Ridge B&B, which looks very interesting.

This small winery is located just off the road, as the vines are grown a few miles away.Lovely, if tiny tasting area and knowledgeable and down-to-earth staff that will teach you something about wine if you venture in. Merlot lovers, you must try it here! It is distinct!

Small winery with very nice wines and knowledgeable staff. Owned by a former physician and his wife who was a dean of students at UVA. Nice family business.

This was our first stop on doing a 2 couple wine tour, while visiting Wintergreen. It is small, but friendly, and some tasty wines. The staff was friendly, even though it was a packed house. We would def visit here again on our next trip to the Blue Ridge!

Small winery. Rents a building in Afton, VA beside Le Bleu B&B. We enjoyed the red wine and sat outside in a small courtyard, staff decanted the wine for us, very relaxing, great staff and welcome.
