OK -- I admit it -- I love to shop. I can amuse myself for quite a while just strolling around Main Street and window shopping. The Tanger Outlets, however, are a dream experience.I love to vacation here and every time I visit -- I always stop by here -- more than once! There is every kind of shop you can imagine to explore -- shoes, clothes, summer wear, stuff for kids and so much more. It's always an enjoyable experience.I love it so much I find myself heading over there more than once a week. They have great values during the Christmas holiday season -- and during the late summer VFW has an outdoor tent sale on sports merchandise that can't be missed if you're a fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, Yankees, Mets, or Giants -- in short the New York or Boston teams. The Reebok store is good -- so is the Levi's store.Just one thing -- make sure you give yourself plenty of time to look around. Browsing is free -- but it takes time!

We go there twice a year for main shopping for us. Its very clean and easy to find every kind of store. Also prices are really too lower than regular stores. I recommend you to go that place for especially a sunny day if you have at least 3 hours . While walking also you take a wonderful fresh air under the sun.

Many brand name stores; pleasant atmosphere. Conveniently located just off Rt. 95 N or S. We found several of our favorite brands here. Just make sure you know your pricing to get the best bargains.

Williams Sonoma alone keeps me returning to Tanger. A few others, like Jockey for lingerie, Levi's and Old Navy for jeans, and Sunglass Hut. You definitely need a map which you can pick up at most of the stores, as it's a bit confusing to get around, which makes parking near store locations difficult. I wind up parking at the head of the outlets in front of Williams Sonoma and walking through the center of the outlets and then you can branch off to the right down the corridors of shops. I don't get lost that way.

I love Tanger in Westbrook, CT. Since I moved to CT in 2009 I have been shopping there and always find the best deals. The Loft and jcrew are my favorite stores for myself. My children love Old navy and hollister. We usually stop into bill's seafood while we are in the area. They have really good lunch deals.

The deals are always awesome here! I go twice a year and I love it every time! They have a coupon book as well if you sign up for their emails it is free.

then this is the Tanger Outlet for you. Not overly big, not overly spread out and you won't want to find time to eat as there's only one eating place. You will find a deal or two and leave happy.

If you like outlet shopping, then this is for you. Unfortunately, the stores are not protected from the elements, i.e., if it rains, you get wet, so check the weather forecast before shopping. The outlets are okay, nothing earth shattering. However, you will come away with a bargain or two.

I go there a few times every year. There are a few stores I enjoy such as Haggar, Van Heusen, Williams Sonoma, a couple of cooking stores. There are a lot of disappointing stores with no real bargains and picked over merchandise. As much as I love Eddie Bauer, very seldom do I find a great bargain. Many of the items at these stores are made for the outlets. They often send out coupons by mail/email/newspapers. If you go to visitor center with your AAA card you can get some discount coupons which may be helpful. They also have some good clearance sales over major holiday weekends. There is only one place that sells lunch...never ate there. Vending machines are very expensive. If you're bringing your kids along, I suggest having snacks with you. If you're doing holiday shopping, you can easily spend 2-3 hours of not more there.

It's a pretty typical outlet mall. We stopped here quick to find something specific and didn't spend too much time here. If you been to any other Tanger Outlets or Premium Outlets then this one isn't much different. If you love outlet malls...you will love it! They did have an old train set up outside which I thought was picture worthy, but cannot find the picture now.

I am in Seventh Heaven!!!! I go to CT shore line quite often and during my last trip there, I went to my favored stop Tanger Outlets, be known to me they just opened Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton Store there! What a delightful surprise? I was so excited to find rim soups for my china pattern with super great price. Assistant Manager Brenda was very knowledgable and super helpful. I was looking for Lismore letter opener, she didnt have it there because it was a discontinued item but she went an extra mile and called one of their stores and find me one! Store was very well stocked, beautifully displayed and staff made me feel home! Great hospitality. And the merchandise! I would love to take one of each to home. I will include a few pictures of the store. Every time when I am in the area, I make sure that I stopped at Tanger Mall. There are 50 some stores and a movie theater. Great selection of stores and great pizza restaurant .

Very nice outlet mall, not far from the CT shoreline. All the stores you could want, and discounts available for AAA members, or go to the service desk to get your coupon book.

We went to the Tanger Outlets in Westbrook for the first time last weekend. This is a great place to shop with a wonderful selection of stores to choose from. There are about 50 stores plus a movie theater. There are only 2 places to eat, which is really the only drawback. However, there are plenty of places to eat in the surround area. The good news is, Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets are a little more than 6 miles down the road, so it's like shopping heaven. Perfect place for back to school and holiday shopping.

Have stopped here every time we go out to the shore/mystic/casino. Great deals. Memorial day sales were fantastic. We just visited after July 4th, sales were good, great customer service when returning items bought on previous trips. As other reviewers have noted there is only one restaurant (a pizza place), we were going to go in but it was really crowded with a long line. The VF outlet store, Haggar, Hollister and Eddie Bauer were our favorites.Definately dress for the weather as this is not enclosed. Wear comfy shoes. If you're looking for a place to eat after shopping we had asked the gas station owner on the corner and she sent us out to rt one (make left out of outlets at light). We found Bills seafood down the road on the right, but she had said that there were many more restaurants down that way (we just went to Bills)
