My sweetheart and I went to the Seven Angels Theatre last week to see the production of Aches and Pains. It was a somewhat comedic story of life inside a nursing home for the five residents and four key staff. The venue is very nice, inside of a former roller skating rink (the hardwood floors are still there). Seating was excellent, and the sound system very good. The GPS directions to 1 Plank Road, Waterbury, brings you about a half mile short of the theatre. Just keep going straight and it will be on your right hand side (coming from Stratford). A nice cozy theatre well worth a visit

Movie type seating. I like row J7 isle seat which is on the right side facing the stage. Personnel working there are so friendly and helpful. It was rather chilly and I had to keep my coat on. But really where ever you sit -- is great. And they are Equity actors.

A must see for theater goers in Connecticut. Located in a refurbished historic skating rink in a city park, Seven Angels produces a variety of plays performed by many equity actors. We have been season's subscribers for years and have never been disappointed. An obvious labor of love by the performers and directors. Bargain prices and a small wine bar.

We attended the comedy show Saturday night. The headliner and mc were very good. One of the other comics was good while the other was just ok. Overall enjoyable. Unfortunately not a very good turnout. Maybe 50/60 people. Despite the enthusiasm of the artistic director, I think the size and perhaps the demographics of the audience made it difficult on the comedians.

I had the pleasure of visiting Waterbury, CT for the past 5 days. We saw the show mentioned above, not ONCE, but TWICE!! Such talented young people!! Would highly recommend the show, but it closes Sun, the 15th. Hurry!

We saw "Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?" I went to a Catholic school so I could relate and rolled with laughter. My Partner is not Catholic and found it equally entertaining. The actress who played Sister Lee stole the show but all the actors were talented and had great voices. The theater was small but comfortable. The night we went they were giving away samples of chocolates from a local chocolate maker, Fascia's, and they were fabulous. It looks like these pre-show events are common for most shows. We were just traveling through the area and planned our trip to hit a night when they had a production. We were not disappointed.

Was looking for something to do on a weekend away with friends. Stumbled across the theater on the internet. What a great afternoon we had. The play was fun, the actors did a great job and the price was right. If in the area again, I would definitely go again.

We saw Nunsense and had a good time. It was a good nite out for us girls! The play was so well done and very funny. It was a quaint little theatre, very homey.

The Theater Director has provided an exceptional program for many years that showcases talent and theatrical performances that are more memorable than many Broadway shows. The program annually is well attended, offers a variety of experiences and can be a lot of fun. Great job and continued success.

Professional small theatre at its best. Enjoyed every show I've seen. Great re-use for the old Hamilton Park theatre/roller rink. Also outstanding amateur offerings. Thanks, Semina!

All of the performances I've attended have been excellent. A small neighborhood theater but with big productions. Never a disappointment.
