After years of seeing this highly visible sign from the highway, we decided to stop in. This attraction is located at the Stratford Train Station. We were fortunate, as our tour was given by Dr. Jankowich , who started the museum. The majority of the tour focused on the start up and development of the helicopter and the decades that it took to get the first one off the ground. It was amazing to learn what first inspired the concept, to building a helicopter, and finally, to what it has grown to be today.Any child or adult who is interested in engineering or aeronautical science would love this museum. there is also a helicopter "cabin" that you can sit in and play around with the gears and peddles. There are also movies to watch. This is a small museum that can be seen in under an hour. It is totally worth seeing. There is no fee for the visit but a small donation box is at the entrance.
