I love this place for the wifi. I am addicted to internet trolling and this place has high speed wifi that can't be beat. And the younguns on campus are a delight to watch. There might be a library on campus for reading books. great place.

We went there for a college tour, and were very impressed. The Associate Dean of Admissions led the information session, and she made it interesting and informative. Conn College focuses on the development of the whole person - we know folks who have gone there and it seems to have a dual identity as preppy or hippyish. One of the best parts of the college curriculum is its focus on internships - the college will pay up to $3000 to help its students go on national or international internships. They also offer a counselor beginning in freshman year to help students develop career and life skills. The Associate Dean was especially wonderful - my son is technically home schooled, and she made a point of reaching out to him to answer questions that came up on the Common App - and she explained how home schooled students' applications are reviewed - AND she made it clear that all applications are read cover to cover. We were impressed!

Even with the building boom that has engulfed Connecticut College, the beauty of the campus is still in place. A rolling green sliding down the hill to Interstate 95 forms the center of an architectural gem that provides the backdrop of this excellent college. Any visit should include stops in the various academic and adminstrative buildings to get a feel for the student experience.

Beautiful campus! Take a walk in the gorgeous arboretum or art museum. Also listen to music in the chapel. Or take in a soccer game on the quad.

My daughter is part of the Class of 2014. The campus is beautiful, the program she has concentrated on will allow her to pursue graduate school, but she is ready to move on. The school is very small and New London is not Boston...

Connecticut College hosts the annual Early Music Festival. Outstanding musicians and pre-classical music - with authentic instruments - a must if you like this type of music. And the college campus is beautiful.

Connecticut College is not just a fantastic place to go to school, it is also a beautiful place to visit on a sunny day. You get a panoramic view of the Long Island Sound from the main green and you can take a quiet walk in the woods in the arboretum. Favorite buildings are Harkness Chapel, a lovely small stone church and the new state-of-the-art geothermal science building. The athletic building overlooks the Thames River. Full of beauty for the smart and ambitious students to see as they contemplate the new things they are learning and experiencing.

"Conn Coll," as locals call it, is simply gorgeous! This highly-selective "little ivy" is nestled inside a 750 acre arboretum and bordered by the Thames River and the US Coast Guard Academy. Tours are FREE! The arboretum is open to the community, too, with guided hikes, self-guided brochures and workshops, etc. Family friendly! While you're there, it's worth it check out the new waterfront in the main town and take the FREE tour of the beautiful USCGA sailing ship that is docked there!Enjoy!!
