This mountain has tons of marked trails to either hike or snowshoe. It's a blast in the winter time and the trails are beautiful!y friends and I went while it was snowing and it was great fun! It's a bit of a hike but not to difficult at all! Could be enjoyed for all ages! There is a nice waterfall at the bottom as well which is frozen during winter! Beautiful place for a quick fun hike!

Anyone who has lived in this area knows Case Mountain. If you have not experienced this natural beauty, you are missing something. The waterfall, the stone walls, the paths, the trees, the view all make for an excellent hike. The Town of Manchester has recently undertaken a "clean-up" and while some didn't think at the time it was needed, it has very much enhanced the already beautiful setting. The hiking is not difficult and the view from the top is worth any discomfort. It is not a time-consumer, so when you have a free couple of hours - enjoy the walk with nature. It's a breath of fresh air.

It is a "mountain" in that the wilderness has been preserved and it offers beautiful views of the Hartford area. Not too difficult to make it to the summit and lookout points in under an hour. Beautiful sunsets!

The trails are not flat and are a little steep in some places - for a hill. Any one in reasonable shape won't have a problem. There is a nice view on the top of the "mountain" to the western landscape towards Hartford. "Mountain" is somewhat of a misnomer if you are used to mountains in the Rockies or even the northern Appalachians, but it is a "mountain" for Manchester, Ct. Also mountain biking is allowed. Grab a great sandwich at the Highland Market nearby, and have a little picnic on the top.

Case Mtn. is a real treasure in Manchester. The trails range from flat to quite hilly. The trails have been blazed and are easy to follow without getting lost if you have a map. Most of the entrances have tubes which should have hiker maps, but they are generally empty. Best to get a map from Town Hall at the Custumer Service area.

I've been going to Case Mountain for at least 50 years and I've enjoyed it every time. At this time of year, with the leaves turning the views are a must see. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful hiking spot or place for a run. Has a great view up top. Is never too crowded and trails are well kept. Haven't mountain biked here but also heard it's a good spot for this. To top it off, picturesque bridge with waterfall!

We have hiked several of the trails with and without the dogs. The trails are of varying degree of difficulty but we have not found any that were too difficult. Be sure to take out anything you bring in - keep this location clean for everyone to enjoy.

To get there, it will take some planning, as it is not "advertised" too often. This is an old estate, converted to be a park for the town of Manchester, Ct. It has stone bridges and old mansions around, very nice walks up and down the hills and paths. Parking seem okay on the roadsides and lots. Good walks, an adventure for the whole family.

I have hiked here many times. There are several locations that you can park at and hike in. This is a very large area to hike in. I have also mtn biked here. Lots of trails. Not very flat. Lots of hills. Many single track trails with a few wider dirt roads.

Great hike! Superb view at the top of the white carraige trail. Nicely groomed trails throughput the woods and around pond, grandkids love to climb on the boulders all around the waterfall.

Great "mountain" love hiking there, varied trails with different terrain and views. A popular mountain biking spot as well. Do me a favor though, bring a trash bag and pack out some litter, the summit can get kind of trashy in the summer from kids partying.

Nice town park with good variety of hiking options and great westerly views. Plenty of parking off Birch Mountain Road.

Took a quick hike up case mountain. Did the short pink trail. Loved the waterfall and view of Hartford. It was a easy hike. Loved the stone wall around the pound. Happened upon where they are filming a horror movie - an added bonus.

The main trail is a steady, easy slope up. It may take 45 minutes with a curious 2 - 4 year old, and there are benches along the way. Steady adult hikers will reach the view in 15 minutes, but there are so very many side trails to explore! You might find yourself back down by the reservoir.Overall, this is a clean, well-kept park. Dogs on leashes welcome, but do be careful of broken glass at the viewing area from previous parties.
