A beautiful view and nice atmosphere. Food was tasty and fairly priced, but I would have liked it to be a little warmer. The waitress was SO ANNOYING though, coming over so often and interrupting us we could hardly enjoy each others company. Then making stupid comments, my husband went out to have a cigarette and she says,"aww are you dining alone?"

On a recent trip to CT for work, my company hosted our local staff holiday party at the restaurant. It's a beautiful venue. Especially the holiday decorations were lovely. They had a wide variety of interesting drinks which were delicious. I had an elderflower bramble which was awesome. However the mushroom pasta was terrible. Slimey with overcooked pasta. I asked for a chicken breast and it was so dry. The best part of the meal was the coffee. Some of the people in my party were happy with their meals however the majority was not. Go for the view not the food.

I want to tell you right from the start that this is a great place for that special event or if you want to impress your golf buddies. My wife threw me a surprise birthday party here last year and it was excellent. The service is impeccable, the food was some of the best I have had, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The golf course is well maintained and priced accordingly. The bar area is cozy and the bar offers a fair selection of top shelf bourbons, scotches, and vodkas. You must remember when you come here that you are coming to a country club environment so the pricing is comparable. If you are looking for that special place, for that special occasion or event, then Fox Hopyard should definitely be on your list.

Been going here for years. Very good course, very good food. People around the restaurant and club house are very nice.

The course is in excellent condition and I play it very often. The fairways and greens are vastly improved. Pro shop staff very friendly and accommodating. Après golf is a treat. The gorgeous 'On the Rocks' restaurant is set high and has a sweeping view of the driving range and incoming 18th hole and green. Drinks and lunch outside are a relaxing and fun way to finish off the day. Try it!

Have been eating here for years .... always great food ..... there is also outside seating and there are friendly chipmunks on the deck ........ great servers too. Also, wonderful wine dinners.

Great place to go for dinner after going to the goodspeed to see a play. Sit out side or in have a drink and enjoy the overlook of the golf course. The food is pretty good and the view great you should enjoy.
