Community activities seem interesting. New to this area and plan to investigate more here. Staff helpful and plenty of seating for a small library.

I like the library a lot. Very clean and well ordered. However I find the staff behind the counter not friendly or welcoming.

The Bristol Library staff should win an award! In particular, the Children's Department librarians and staff are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I grew up in Bristol but moved to a nearby town, and the library staff here has always made our family feel welcome to visit, check out books or enjoy any of their high-quality family or children's events. They keep a good stock of current books and constantly go through them for quality and repair. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!

The room is open one Saturday per month plus hours during the week. It has pictures of Bristol past and is a wonderful gathering spot to hear stories of old time Bristol. Jay (the librarian) is a marvel always happy to help and delighted to see you.

The children's department is large and has a lot of toys for the kids to play with besides books and computers. They often have story times, movie showings or other special events that you can attend even if you are not a Bristol resident. This is a great place to take kids on a rainy or cold day, or as a kid-friendly break on a roadtrip.
