Heeeeeeeeeey, get yur scor-cod heeeeeeere, can't tell the playah's without a scor-cod (imagine a Bronx accent). A trip to see your Bridgeport Bluuuuuuuuuuuefish is a nice evening to watch veteran minor leaguer's and major leaguer's at the end of their careers. All seats are great with no bad seats at all. Parking in the adjacent lot is $5. Bring your kids, girlfriend, the guys, grab a couple of hot dogs, peanuts and crackerjack and yes, don't forget the beer for a wonderful evening of baseball. Wave to the Metro North trains as they slow down on Jenkins curve to catch an inning or so of the game at time.

The Bridgeport Bluefish games are so much fun! It is affordable family fun! On Saturday nights, fans are treated to a phenomenal fireworks display! It's a great bonding experience for far less than you would spend on the movies or bowling!

Good value. Tickets are inexpensive. Beer is icy and Linenkugel Summer Shandy is available. Better peanuts than Yankee Stadium. Better food than most ballparks. Fireworks on Friday night. Crap team.

We've been here and at the arena a few times now and have never had a bad experience. It's not the major leagues so don't expect greatness just a fun time out with the family. The food is overpriced but every stadium is over priced you just have to expect that too. So, get the family together go for a few hours have some laughs and enjoy the game. Then stop at any one of the great local shops for food.

We attended our first Bluefish game on Saturday, August 30th. We have attended many minor league and Atlantic League games at other locations. My tickets stated 6:05pm start. We arrived at about 5:45pm. We drive about one hour and 30 minutes to get to Bridgeport. For a semi pro park the cost of food was almost as expensive as some major league parks. Only one kiosk available for one type of food. The gear store prices on merchandise were just as expensive as Yankee Stadium and a very limited selection. Also the printer was inoperative, so they couldn't give you a written receipt????? But what I couldn't understand is the game was to start at 6:05pm. Well 6:05pm came and went and no start or announcements. Finally a Sikorsky helicopter lands in the outfield. The only announcement we heard was the helicopter was delayed because President Obama was near the local air space. Having been around Aviation since the age of 14, I understand the restrictions. Having been a helicopter crew chief on CH-53's and UH-1Ns in my Marine Corps days, I found the landing of the "helo" a bit dangerous. The power lines, the overhead train wires, a ballpark full of people. OK fine. But then at 6:45pm the umpires come out. Then they go back inside and another 10+ minutes pass. Again no announcements at all by anyone. Everyone seated around us, were also questioning what was the delay? Finally, close to 7pm the game got underway. For our first time to this park we were not impressed with the lack of announcements and keeping the fans advised of what was going on. Maybe this was a one time occurrence but it certainly did not impress us. We have attended games at Lancaster, Brooklyn, Staten Island, many games at Dutchess Stadium, Lowell and many other parks and never experienced this issue.

It's baseball. Nice enough stadium. Beautiful day. Good food. Great ice cream. Definitely a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I had my son's birthday party here and was dissapointed from the adult perspective. The entire party was unbelievably uncoordinated and the service from employees was a joke.

We saw the Bluefish play Lancaster over Father's Day weekend. They were great! The staff is wonderful, and they do so many activities between innings. They even have bouncy castles for the younger kids. They even let the kids run the bases at the end of the game. Traditional stadium food. Will continue going.

Four of us went to a bluefish game recently. It was our first experience there. The baseball was well, not major-league, but very entertaining. The atmosphere was very family oriented. And the fireworks display shortly after the game were spectacular. Very good value for a very pleasant evening.

Took advantage of the Groupon that the Bluefish put out. We got to the stadium early to ensure that we could get tickets. We were given the choice of where we wanted to sit and ended up in the second row pretty much right behind home plate. The game itself was a lot of fun, there were a ton of activities going on between innings and it had a pleasant family friendly atmosphere. Even without the groupon, the ticket prices for the 'premium' seats are only $14 so for effectively less than the cost of a movie ticket you can see a great baseball game and have a wonderful evening. I highly recommend checking it out if you like baseball or just want to do something different for the night.

I have been taking my kids (8 years old and 4 years old) to Bluefish games for years. Stadium: The stadium is suburb. Clean, well run, and beautiful. Parking is very accessible. Easy in and out. Pricing: This is the best thing about the experience. When you are taking a family, you can't beat the price. You can consistantly get $7 tickets on Groupon for really good seats. Food is reasonably priced, shirts and other items are well priced also.Food: The food quality I would classify as above average for ball park food. It is also priced well.Stadium activities: Outside of the game. They have fun events for the kids, bouncy house, etc. For the little ones that can only keep their attention for 3-4 innings, it is nice to know their are other things going on. The mascot is very active and the kids love him.Overall: If you are local, it is a great place to go see a game. I don't give 5 stars often but it is definitely worth it.

While I am a Bridgeport fan, I'm not much for sports. My wife got us tickets through her work, so we attended a blueFish game. I am proud to admit I had a great time. Rooting for the home team was fun(even though they lost) and the stadium was fresh, clean and I couldn't see a bad seat. The facilities were modern and clean(though I "visited" in the beginning of the game). The food was as expected but hot and there were enough souvenirs to fill the back deck of a '65 Impala. As I scanned the crowd, I was checking out the kids and a smile on everyones face told me this was a winner for family day and the Boys to Girls mix was about even. The parents had smiles as well and over-heard only good things in line, other than the price of souvenirs. Plenty of parking and a hint for our Long Island friends, About 6 city block walk to Port Jeff Ferry port.
