What a beautiful little town in a beautiful campus. The tour was very good and our tour guide very knowledgeable of the school and it's history.

We are new in the area, and big sports fans, so my husband took to me to this famous spot. The campus was beautiful! Traffic was being directed very well and it was a pretty drive.

My daughter was interviewing here for a Graduate program and We drove her up since she doesn't know how to drive in the snow.(5 inches worth) The school is just beautiful and the town of Oxford is so picturesque. The people who work at the school are super friendly and so helpful. They are a wealth of information and they LOVE their school and the town. We were just wondering around the campus and looking in the buildings. There is so much history here and it's just fascinating to read all of the plaques scattered around in the buildings and outside on the grounds. If you are ever in the area make the trip to see this amazing school.PS> $2 visitor parking fee during the week

I cannot say enough about Ole Miss. It is my son's university. Believe everything you have heard; the rumors are true. There is no more genteel, gorgeous, sublime experience than Saturday in The Grove. If you are a football fan, you must experience it once. I have nothing but great things to say about all aspects of the university. I couldn't love it more if it were my Alma Mater.

Ole Miss is many things, but I will comment on two items of interest to me. First, I wanted to see the original building, the Lyceum, completed in 1848 as the first building of Ole Miss when it opened. This is the place where Federal troops overcame a riot to enable James Meredith, the first African-American, to enroll in Ole Miss. And second, I wanted to visit the University Museum (located at University Avenue and 5th Street) to see its Collection of 19th Century Scientific Instruments used to teach university students from 1848 to 1861. While there, I discovered the Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities covering the period from 1500 B.C. to 300 A.D., one of the finest collections in the South. If you like either of these, you need to visit <http://museum.olemiss.edu/collections/>.

This is a beautiful campus with great energy! Very historical town with beautiful architecture and southern charm. Be sure to visit "The Grove"located on campus for an extra treat during spring and summer months when trees and flowers are in full bloom.

We love walking around the Ole Miss campus. I definitely recommend walking into Bryant Hall--a beautiful inside right on the Circle.

As a northerner I never really thought about the traditions that go along with a school like Ole Miss. What a stunningly beautiful campus! Everything about it speaks of all the tradition that is here. Most impressive for me was the statue of James Meredith. Ole Miss is not hiding its past, but embracing it and moving forward. A very impressive place!

The football stadium was relatively small. The fans remained standing throughout the entire game. The student fans were located behind the goal post in the in zone, and we witnessed throwing of bottles at the opposing band members. The Grove is a beautiful collection of trees, and the tailgating is overrated unless you prefer a classic type dinner for tailgating. If you plan on drinking alcohol, be sure to put it in a separate unmarked container.

I went there as well as my son. Wonderful life experiences. Still go back there for football season. Gertrude Ford center provides many cultural attractions

If you are a visitor you won't feel like an outsider. This campus prides itself on it's beauty and hospitality. The Grove is the hub of life here in games days and every day. The Ford Center brings high quality performances to it's stage. The sports venues provide thrilling games. The classrooms prepare students for amazing futures. You have to see it to fully appreciate all that is Ole Miss.

The Grove is the setting for tailgating during the games and a pleasant, relaxing place to picnic, stroll, and toss a frisby or a ball. The trees are magnificent. The University itself is walkable and has a great library.

Beautiful campus to ride around and enjoy especially the older historical buildings. Must see the statue of James Meredith and the significance of his place here.

Attended here from 2004-2006 to finish a BA in education. Beautiful campus, wonderful professors and many different student opportunities, even for the non-traditional student!
