The Cardinals are a AA minor league team of the St. Louis Cardinals. They play at Hammonds Field which is one of the nicest minor league fields in the country. This is one of the best family entertainment venues in the area. There is no smoking allowed in side the stadium and the ushers do a great job of handling any rowdiness. At least 75% of the St. Louis Cardinals played here before being promoted. The tickets are decently priced although the concessions can get a little pricey if you get lots of food and drink.

my family got tickets for the prefered seating upstairs where you get free food and sodas when i called and asked if this area was air conditioned i was told yes but when we got there we found out otherwise. my husband has medical issues and can't be out in the heat and it wasn't but about 10 min and he was very ill from the heat and had to be brought home. i left my 2 sons there to watch the game while i drove my husband home and had to go back. they really need to make better acommadations for the handicaped to keep them from getting heat stroke.

This is one of the very nicest, prettiest ball parks around. It is smallish since it is a farm team, but incredibly well kept. It is just a beautiful place to spend the afternoon or evening.

I have had season tickets all 10 years the Springfield Cardinals have been in town. I grew up a die hard Cardinals fan and got to have my 60th birthday party at the Springfield Cardinals game. It has been a thrill to get to see so many of the Springfield players make it to the majors. They could leave out some of the nonsense between innings but I understand there are a lot of people enjoying the ballpark that don't care much about what is happening on the field and need entertained. Even with that distraction, I thoroughly enjoy each game I get to attend.

reasonable cost, great family experience, lots of good food, lots of activities for the kids, and a great game. Beautiful stadium.

Great place to stop for a familiy night out!! Best minor league stadium in baseball!!! We love the ability to sit with our kids in the grass and watch for foul balls!! Concessions are diverse and the stadium itself is beautiful and impeccably maintained.

You get to enjoy baseball at the almost big league level at a fraction of the price. Took are 1 1/2 year old grandson and he had a good time. He started pointing at Louie the mascot. And the mascot came over and took a picture with us. Best family entertainment in town.

This place is amazingly good compared to the stadiums in Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; or even Chicago, IL (yes, I mean Wrigley Field) or Houston, TX. The Springfield Cardinals may not be Major League Baseball, but they are majorly fun baseball at its best. Food here is only slightly less than at a MLB game (ouch), but they have a very interesting variety of shops that only lacks the awesomeness of a build-your-own-salad-place like I encountered in Houston (which was about the only good thing about that visit). The crowds are very dynamic here: it rivals the game itself. I have sat in most of the sections and in several party rooms. The party rooms, honestly, always smell of nachos and cheese as though the room had become saturated in liquid cheese and corn flakes at some point in time. However, the balcony seating is still good. I prefer to be actually outdoors when at a ballgame, but tastes (and olfactory sense) may vary. Usually, they are impeccably clean. Be careful you don't bring food or drink in with you though, or you will encounter unpleasantness at the gate while you are incredulously searched.

The Springfield Cardinals are a minor league team for the St Louis Cardinals. A lot of the current big Cards, played here in Springfield. This is a great minor league park! The parking can be a little difficult at times but not terrible. A great place to take the family or friends.

I went with a group and we got red bird roost tickets, it was good food and all you can eat and drink during the game. Definitely the best end of the deal.

Well you might get to sit on the grass. This is so much fun the locals have purchased most of the season passes. I know - my cousin there has had them since day one. My sister and brother go to every game. This is a fun stadium. Sure this is the St Louis Cardinal's team, but the stadium is fun by itself. Lots of fun during the game up in the stands and on the field. Food and drinks are all there and priced good. Plenty of parking and the neighborhood is safe. Many seats are in the shade the entire game - that's where we sit. Dog nights are when you can take your pooches in with you - and that's really a fun thing to be at even if you don't have one. One lady has taught her dog to 'woof woof' when the PA plays "Who Let The Dogs Out?" Lots of fun win or loose. The Reds may loose by everyone has fun anyway. Go have fun. Woof woof!

Beautiful ballpark takes you back to what the game is all about. Very well kept and organized facility that puts you close to the action. This is a child and kid friendly place that can also be enjoyed by the adult fans as well. Parking is close so access is good and admission is very reasonable. All and all as good as apple pie!

You can't beat the price to watch some of these ballplayers play. You might even get to see some that are just coming off of injury play that play for the MLB. Usually brings a good crowd. And the 4th of July Fireworks are superb.

My family enjoys watching this minor league team of the St. Louis Cardinals. There is a play area for young children too. We've been able to see some of the big league players who are rehabing from injuries. Also enjoy some great promise like Friday fireworks.
