This area has great shopping. All of the best shops. It was heaven!! And it looks very historic. Great area with lots of food and drinks also!

Typical overpriced outdoor mall full of shops with things you either don't need or can't afford. Crowded, bad traffic, nothing to see here, move along.

For the shopaholics who read this, the Plaza is the first open air shopping center in the USA! Many well known shops are here, along with a dozen or more great places to eat. Wear your walking shoes, as it will take you about an hour to see it all. The Spanish motif is done on purpose as Seville Spain is one of our sister cities. If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist!!

Great area for both shopping and dining. Many of the upscale shops have moved, but still plenty for discriminating taste (most recently was the move of Hall's to Crown Center.) A visit during Christmas for the light display is a must.

this is the place to be for a shopalcoholic ! you need a map because we can get lost. this is all outside, you gotta be careful with the traffic when you across the street. we get so excited to go to different stores that we do not pay attention to the cars. take the whole morning and the afternoon off, there is so much to do !

I love the Kansas City Plaza! Enjoy a carriage ride with your sweetly or go with a bunch of girlfriends and shop all day! There's plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from and tons of shopping places that are unique and also one-of-a-kind. There is also stores you're more familiar with and love to shop at. There's so much to do and see on and even near the Plaza you'll want to come back time and time again. We always find parking either on the street or in one of several parking garages. In the summer, I love to just sit and watch people enjoying themselves. During the winter, if your lucky enough, you can enjoy the snow as you walk, shop, eat out and just enjoy the most beautiful Plaza in Missouri. Planning my next trip back now...

This is an amazing place to visit during the holidays. I have taken my wife, parents and little niece and always have had fun. Take the carriage ride to see the lights and all the random people walking around.

I still go to the Plaza and I still enjoy it, BUT not as much as I used to. Call it nostalgia or call it a yearning for the quaint places that were local to the area and not chains that were the face of the Plaza two or three and more decades ago. I miss them. It seems one by one those places have closed or relocated and more nationally known chains have filled up the spaces. The security at the Plaza has not been consistent the past few years either. I would not go there on a weekend night, particularly when the weather is nice. I will visit during the day or during the week.

The Country Club Plaza is a decent shopping center. Most of the stuff is pretty over-priced and it can be hard to find and navigate the exact store you are looking for. The movie theater is barely adequate and the service there is kind of poor. The Holiday light display is nice, especially if you stay at a neighboring hotel.

Essentially a big mall spread out over several streets Country Club Plaza offers a mix of shopping and dining options. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday with friends, family or on your own

We were in town and decided to head down and check out the lights. It was just as I remembered from childhood, beautiful. I like to drive up and down the streets when it's too cold to walk around.

Beautiful outdoor shopping district built in the 50s to replicate Seville Spain. It has many upscale shops, restaurants, fountains, and architecture to see.

Okay, it's a tourist trap but it is beautiful, full of energy and has great places to shop. You must see it while you are in Kansas City...at least once.

If you like to shop & not go to a typical mall - this area has lots of great shops. There are some basic stores like you would find in a mall & many other shops that are unique. It tends to be on the upscale side. But there are stores in every price range.Lots of restaurants & bars too. You can easily make a very full day here.

The Country Club Plaza was the country's first "shopping mall". An outdoor shopping area with amazing architecture and great restaurants. Shop 'til you drop, have some great food, but don't forget to see all of the fountains, rod-iron gates and other architecture. JC Nichols was inspired by the architecture of Seville, Spain and several pieces were imported from Seville. Take your time and enjoy the day (and evening).
