It is well crafted, yes, crafted place to organise grand events with relaxing seating arrangement, good sound track and all other required comfort.

Hill Auditorium celebrated its 100th birthday in 2013. It was completely renovated between 2002 and 2004, and has a working pipe organ that is used for concerts on a regular basis. World class performers have appeared here, including the Vienna Philharmonic, Itzhak Perlman, etc. If you are visiting the University of Michigan campus but there are no scheduled events at the auditorium, take a moment to check to see if the building is unlocked. It's often open during the day and is well worth taking a few minutes to see the detail of the interior.

Went to the Ann Arbor Folk Festival over the weekend. Amazing place for music - sound quality was great! Beautiful auditorium! Volunteers were very helpful to someone in a wheelchair and helped out a lot. The first night I was sitting in the handicap area on the mezzanine level and could not see very well over the people in the seats ahead of me. The 2nd night I was sitting in the handicap area on the main floor and had an amazing view of the stage. Overall really liked the venue, hope to come back again.

Went to the Ann Arbor Folk Fest at the Hill - and it was fabulous! The venue is great! Very beautiful and unique. I sat on the mezzanine level, half way back, and wished I had better seats to see the stage - although the sound was great. Good place!

This place is such a feast for your eyes and ears. It's a concert hall for the University of Michigan right on campus, but it is often used for performers from other areas. The acoustics are amazing, no matter where your seat is. The intricate details of the restoration work on the stage and ceiling are impressive. Many local schoolchildren also get to come and perform here every year with their school music programs, which is a real treat for them and for their families.

Abbiamo eseguito qui l'ultmo Guglielmo Tell della tournèe. Grandissima sala, in stile un po' "vecchiotto" ma con un'ottima acustica... Il pubblico è stato, come negli altri teatri, molto caloroso e ci ha regalato un grande successo!!!
