It was my first time in Tecumseh, Mi and I was instantly attracted to the lake. I decided to pull off and check it out when I was greeted by and an extremely excited man and his sweet wife, Mark and Jen Johnson. I told them it was my first time here and had to pull in and see the lake. They then explained their kayaking company and asked if I would be interested in renting one to go out onto the lake. They were extremely accommodating and the kayaking trip was absolutely beautiful! Mark and Jen were also knowledgeable of the lake and the river and welcomed me back with enthusiasm. I live 2 hrs away and guarantee that I'll be back if not for anything else other than another kayaking trip with Mark and Jen's Tecumseh Paddling Company! loved it!

My family went to Tecumseh Paddling Company and had a blast! My 17 and 15 year old sons loved the stand up paddle boards. We used kayaks to do the loop and the scenery was beautiful. I would love to go back in the fall to see the leaves changing on the trees. Jennifer and Mark are very knowledgeable when it comes to paddling around the area and you can see the excitement in their eyes when they talk about the adventure you are about to have!

I took the loop route a few months ago. It was great. The equipment, staff and scenery were fantastic. Well worth the ride.

My wife and I recently rented a canoe and took the River Raisin loop trip. It's a great trip consisting of about half flat water and then a nice run down the river back to the start; as a result no shuttle needed. The trip is scenic and secluded allowing the paddler to imagine they are many miles from cities or traffic. That trip takes about an hour or so, but there are longer ones for folks with more time. The water moves along, but we always felt safe and would be comfortable taking young kids. This is an inexpensive trip for anyone looking for a quick getaway.
