We played this course this past July 2014. It is slightly different from most courses in northern Michigan in that while some of the fairways are narrow, you can still retrieve your ball should you go in the rough. The fairways were in excellent condition when we were there as were the greens. The greens were slightly fast, but we haven't found a course in Michigan that didn't have fast greens. We will definitely be playing this course again. And, last but definitely not least, the drinks we had in the bar were fantastic. Pleasant experience all around.
