jomagrha vineyards & winery

Self built by the proprietor, Jomagrha is a west Michigan original. Touting wines made solely from Michigan grown grapes, the selection is vast and covers every taste in wines from Labrusca to DeChaunac. Really enjoyed the Michigan Pinot Noir. I plan to buy a case if available on my next visit.

$5 for 6 very small tastings. Spent $15 for 3 of us to taste what would amount to 1/2 glass of wine. Enjoyed the wines, "sweet" wines were not too sweet, but not dry either. Very small location, only serve one group (of 3 or 4) at a time, so people waiting to taste seem uneasy in the limited space.

Nice little place for an afternoon stop. $5 for six tasting. Good variety and son delicious wines mostly priced 12-18$. We bought a bottle of red and white. Family owned and run. Tasting room could use improvement and redecorating. Fun outing for adults.

We make a point of going to the Ludington area at least twice a year just to visit this winery! John the owner and wine maker is always there to share his knowledge and his wine. We have found no other winery that is consistently great with both white and red wines! The prices are very reasonable and the service is great! Do yourself a favor and stop in whenever you're in the area you will not be disappointed!!!
