This small Catholic college is nestled on the grounds of a former estate in southeast Grand Rapids, MI. The school has been well endowed by a wealthy local businessman for decades. It has a dedicated, caring staff, beautiful facilities, and its small size makes campus life easy, unstressful, and laid back.

Today's quick tour of the campus on a snowy day felt like a walk through an enchanted land. Graceful old buildings, beautiful wooded walks. This campus is a must see for tourists. This meshed with my idea of what a fine spiritually-based liberal arts college looks like. Sipped hot cocoa in the Cook Carriage House, viewed student photo art in the Theater Arts Annex and enjoyed the silence and art in the Grace Hauenstein Library. The library houses some exceptional art, including "The Quality of Mercy" and an astonishing wall-sized 2H-pencil art of cavalry officers. This campus is a reassuring mix of old and new. Do visit.

I have honestly never dealt with an institution with poor record keeping, not to mention various times of attempting to get a hold of their departments. Always claiming that they are either out of the office of on a family leave for 2 1/2 years ? seriously, does it take that long to do a graduation audit? They are heartless individuals not willing to help when help is needed. I would NEVER recommend even my worst enemy to attend Aquinas.

I have attended many plays, and musical events, over the years at Circle. Each performance was top notch. Based on experience, I know Circle selects only talented actors or musicians, so I always look forward to the evening's event. The setting is intimate, the seats in a semi-circle, with the "stage" at the bottom of the room, so that everyone in attendance has a perfect vantage point. I have had great fun at Circle, and you will, too.

We went to see a play at the Circle Theater and got there early and walked around campus. Very beautiful old buildings with great walking paths and scenic landscaping. The theater is very modern and new and a great place to see plays.

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar. It was wonderful. No bad seats in the theater. In a beautiful setting. The actors are talented, go see a production if you have time.

Aquinas is a small college that is dedicated to excellence in both education and optimizing the student experience. Every step of the way the Aquinas staff works with students to be sure they get the most out of their college experience. Small classes often taught by professionals in their field add much to the experience. I have three daughters who attended Aquinas College and all are doing very well. I highly recommend Aquinas College.

Fun to walk around when you're in the mood for a quiet walk on a weekend, when there are less students around. An old estate, with smalls ponds, great for watching birds and wildlife. Also a great college!!

If you're on the southeast side of Grand Rapids and looking for a lovely spot for a drive-through this campus is a great option. It's located on the east beltline not far from the great shopping and dining options around 28th street SE.

We attended an event in the KRETSCHMER Recital Hall at the Art and Music Center recently. We had concerns because one of us uses a four-wheeled walker and cannot manage stairs. The Recital Hall was completely accessible via an outside ramp or via an inside elevator. Accessible bathrooms were within a short distance of the Hall. The campus is beautiful--a forested academic oasis in the midst of a less than picturesque city. We were only visitors to the campus. It must be a pleasure to be a student at the College and walk through the lovely surroundings. For visitors who are unfamiliar with the limited parking on campus, it may be a bit of a problem to access a well-attended event.

My parents can attest that this is a pricey college but the atmosphere and community is worth it. Surrounded by trees and history as well as friendly professors, I am glad I went!

One thing I loved about AQ, all my courses were in the Administration building. That meant during breaks, we could listen to the Jazz band practicing in the music theater next door. Love the grounds. I was never afraid to get to my car at 2:00am from the lab. Glad Aquinas gave me an excellent education. The only counselors that ever gave me solid advice!

My husband and I are alumni. Our daughter is currently a student on academic and athletic scholarship. Excellent education for those serious about learning and getting great opportunities for promo internships. It was begun as a Catholic college, but is very liberal-minded and accepting of all-comers and encourages highly critical thinking.

I loved the small gorgeous campus. The one on one attention from professors. The atmosphere...best college memories.

We saw a play over at the college. It was very good and professional. The seats were well places and the stage was at a terrific view. I would recommended visiting and catching a play!
