The MC is a little out of the way but worth the drive. From t-box to greens the place is very well kept up. If anything I'd like to see the fairway grass a little shorter.

This course is very close to Mackinaw City. Very easy to get to if you are staying there and enjoying the island or the city of Mackinaw.We wanted to play golf so we decided to give this course a try. Very short drive to the course. The pro shop is small but nice. The staff was very friendly. We had no trouble getting a tee time just driving up.The woman said this course was the hidden jewel of the north. We gave 18 a try. I had a good time. I enjoyed the course. Now, is was a nice course but average in design. But please remember, we only paid $30.00 for the 18. There are nicer courses in Northern Michigan but you will pay a lot more. If in the area, this course is worth the 18, plus it is nice to play in the morning an go to the island in the afternoon.NOTE: Lots of woods. Bring some bug spray. On the fairway I had no trouble but if your ball goes into the woods, the mosquitoes are bad.The course is right before or after the bridge depending on which way you are traveling. Give it a try. I will play it again.

This place is awesome. The course is in great shape and for the price, a fantastic value. The course is quite challenging especially the back nine holes. Where most courses charge double the price this is a great value.

We've played better courses for $30 but this is just OK. Fairly well maintained. Somewhat intersting layout but really flat. Husband did not like - thought it was boring. Should have played better as it was not really difficult. Nice, friendly people. Probably would not play again. Michigan has too many really nice courses.
