This is a fun course with plenty of water and sand. Not real long, it has 4 sets of tees. Kind of wide open, but there are some holes that are pretty tight. Nice staff and nicely priced. Always look for their specials, you can find some good deals. Give it a play, you might lose a ball or two and have some fun doing it.

Close by the Best Western Hotel in Lapeer, lots of parking. The course is well maintained and in great shape. A little bit of everything for golfers.

I played Copper Ridge today for the first time with a foursome of pretty good golfers. Everyone thought the course layout was very fun and quite challenging, and the fairways and greens were in really nice shape for late August. We had a late morning tee time and the pace of play was fine and our group didn't do much waiting at all. We saw the cute cart girl about 4 times during our round, and considering the temperature was in the 80's, it was much appreciated! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we will be coming back to this course again soon.

It wasn't an easy course nor was it hard. The front nine has more woods than the back nine. On the front nine the fairways get narrower as you approach the greens. If the drive is not in the fairway then you may be hitting over trees to the green. If you are long off the tees then you must hit the fairways. The back nine is more open except for the subdivision that you have to go through. On one of the holes you are surrounded by houses. Some of the fairway bunkers did not have any sand in them, it could be because of all of the rain we had recently. We just took a drop out of them. My brother got the tee times on line and got a good deal of $22 for 18 holes and a cart. I would go back again.

I played on a Saturday in June and I think I might have been in the foursome mentioned in the previous review! We teed-off at 10:15am and the course was already backed up at the third hole. It took about 2.5 hours to play the front nine. I was hoping the back nine would pick up, but the clubhouse double-booked a tee-time for the afternoon and decided to "fix" this by sending one of the twosomes they double-booked off of the back nine in front of our group. This ground play on the back nine to a halt. It took about six hours to finish the round and no compensation or even an apology was offered from the clubhouse. Ridiculous! I won't be back.

Traveled to Michigan for an outing with my brother s on a Saturday. They allowed three groups of two to start before us backing up the entire course. We waited an average of 10 minutes at each hole and then they allowed another twosome to go off the back nine between us and the foursome behind us. Took over 5 hours for the round. Charged us $40 each and the condition was marginal at best. I'll never go back. The only thing they had in the clubhouse to eat were hot dogs and chips.

This course, though young, has a fantastic layout. Now with new ownership money is being spent to enhance the course ten fold. This course will certainly challenge you from the tee to the green. Overall an 8.5 out of 10. Hickory sticks restaurant in the clubhouse offers a full menu and I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Give it a whirl!
