Played here and was one of the nicest golf courses I have ever played. Very long course but well worht the time and enjoyed every stroke.

While the course's slope rating is not that high, it can be a difficult course if you don't stay in the fairways. Beautiful vistas enhance the golf experience, for sure!

Ok, I love Boyne and all of the courses. The Monument is a great course too with interesting topography. One gripe... They do not give you a course layout (which is not on score card) unless you pay a dollarWhich no one tells you before you head out... ErrrSo, suggestion time, I think you should give your golfers a course layout, tack a dollar on the course fee!

Boyne has amazing golf courses and Monument is one of them. It takes 15 minutes to ride up the mountain to begin your round and then you play down the mountain. Tip: your putts will fall down the mountain.

I liked the course just fine, it was overbooked or flooded with slow golfers which made it a little frustrating. Well maintained.

Loved starting at the top of the ski hill. Very nice and challenging course. No GPS or maps of the holes - a course map with hole layouts would have been nice.

We enjoyed our round of golf at the Monument. The first opening holes are really fabulous with some major elevation changes, dogleg fairways and massive bunkers. Some holes are in the valley but the majority have some elevation either uphill or downhill or major drops. The only reason we rated this as an average due to it not being as well maintained as the other Boyne course we played. It's still a very good course and golfers will definitely enjoy it.

The Monument course is very picturesque. The holes are varied so you use all of your clubs. Each hole has a different character and is named for a certain golf pro. The hole is designed after the type of game the pro had. Make sure to take a cart, very hilly!
