Our daughter had her wedding reception at the Manor House. It was fabulous. The staff is amazing and the food....the BEST! they have a chef who prepares the most amazing dishes, right from the cafeteria that is located next door to the Manor House. We were given a tour by Nicole, inside and out, and we knew it was the right place for our daughter's wedding reception. It gave me chills. What a setting. In November they have local artists displaying their wares (for purchase) throughout the home, which has been beautifully decorated for the holidays. Take a drive along Gull Lake and be sure to stop at the Manor House for a tour!

The home was built in the late 1920s as a summer home for cereal magnate, WK Kellogg. We had a wonderful tour by an extremely knowledgeable docent. Many interesting rooms, tiles, windows, and views. Cost was $8 for the tour.At this time of the year (pre-Christmas) the volunteers exhibit loads of Christmas items for sale. They do this in order to collect funds to keep the home functioning. However, some of us were less interested in shopping and more in touring. We felt the sale items were cluttering up many of the rooms. If this were to bother you or your group, simply make reservations on a different date.

Great for group outings. Went for dinner with 50 co-workers. Everyone enjoyed atmosphere, walking down to lake. Dinner was very good. Staff was friendly, prompt.

We had a very informative guided tour of the house. The guide was very knowledgeable about the Kellogg family. She was able to answer most of our questions. The house is located on Gull Lake with a newer building nearby for the college. There is a Dutch windmill on the property and the gardens are lovely. The meal we had consisted of a bowl of chicken soup and a delicious cranberry salad. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake. The lunch was served in the living room which has large windows and a lake view. There are special events scheduled such as several teas over the summer, dinner theater, and the house is decorated at Christmas time. I hope to return for one of the teas.

Valentines dinner outstanding. Great service and awesome meal. Determined they have tours and special events throughout the year. Going back for Easter with our family. Affiliated with the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary so in April it's an extended family outing with special children's events. Beautiful home with so much history.

What a treasure Michigan State University has on this beautiful property near Kalamazoo. I took a bus trip of 29 people and we all enjoyed the wonderful tour and fabulous meal we had in the living room. Best fillet I've ever had. Could cut it with a fork. Everything about the meal was wonderful. Highly recommend this venue for a small group meal.

The house is nicely redone and they offer a nice tour. House sits perched on a hill on the grounds of the W. K. Kellogg Biological Station overlooking large Gull Lake. Only a short walk time on these grounds, but near to Kellogg Forest for a longer walk.

Great place to tour to get a sense of local history and see how the other half lived. Now part of MSU, it's a lovely place in the summer with the flower gardens and grounds. Take advantage of the teas they have. The service and food is wonderful.

This non-profit excels at offering those quaint teas with exquisite little morsels while tantalizing one with a topic of interest. Sometimes my friends just attend for the scrumptious desserts. LOL Don't miss the Christmas decorations and gift items for sale. They even offer a manors class for children. Over looking Gull Lake this is a real treasure.

We toured the Kellogg Manor House during our area's annual Arts and Eats Tour. The docent was knowledgeable and shared much information about how the house (built in 1925) has changed hands over the years, from its original designation as a summer home, through its donation to the Coast Guard in 1942 as an induction and training center, to its use as a rehab estate for wounded veterans after WW II. Upon WK's death in 1951, the Manor House and its 32-acre estate were given to Michigan State University, and the Kellogg Biological Station was created. In 2000 the Kellogg Manor House was restored to its original state. We enjoyed the tour of its 12,000 feet.

A great tour of the Kelloggs mansion. Ful of history and the guides were very helpful. The grounds are beautifull as well.

Occasionally they do free tours which is when we went through. We were very impressed with the workmanship of the rooms, the location, and landscaping. The guide was very informative and we learned some things about the Kellogg clan.
