We had a wonderful time at PEEC with the Girl Scouts last weekend. The lodges were lovely, clean, and warm. The staff was very knowledgable and led informative programming for the scouts. The Ecozone is not to me missed!! Loved by all!

We have gone here in previous years and they improve each year. The trails are moderate to hard.The information center was enjoyed by the family and has a kids touch table.....not fancy. But while open a member of the staff will give you all the help you need and answer all your questions.

Wonderful 3-mile hike to the waterfalls. Moderate level with some climbs. Our dog Buster enjoyed this hike too!

This was a fabulous experience. Being with friends for a weekend trip, getting to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors, and learn while having fun - this was great! The staff is well educated and enjoy their work. They were sure all was well with us guests during this weekend excursion and had back-to-back activities planned for us. I would definitely recommend this weekend to other women and might repeat this Women's Weekend next year.

The trails at PEEC are lovely. The two we went on, the Tumbling Waters Trail and Scenic George Trail, went through woods and at least one followed a stream. We liked the quiet, solitary experience of these trails, very unlike the trails at Bushkill Falls, which are very crowded, and sometimes very loud. We have fond memories of being at PEEC for Family Camp when our kids were young. We will be back!

Loved the hike, but make sure you look up the trails on the PA website. Dingman's campground had terrible directions, with wrong color blaze information etc.

Excellent place for a hike, with a number of well marked hiking trails. The center itself contains a small nature museum.

We did the 3 mile trail up to the waterfall. It was a nice hike through a few different types of forest cover...some uphill. Once we arrived at the waterfall our Labradoodle was happy to cool off! They are pet friendly. On the other side of the waterfall hike is a nice lookout point over the delaware valley.

Best hiking trails in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and they have many programs available including guided hikes and the EcoZone discovery area. Great facilities for events as well. Check their website at www.peec.org or Facebook page for schedules and more information.

There are also a lot of trails that you can hike @ the Center. Learn about the area and experience the wildlife.

My boyfriend booked us a two hour waterfall tour through PEEC. It was $14 a person. The guide said we would stop and see if one area was open yet for the season then stop by two other areas.We went to the first site and it was open. We were a group of approximately 13-14 adults. We ended up spending the whole two hours at the first stop and saw two waterfalls. I thought it was somewhat poorly planned. I felt the guide should have known whether or not the sites were open and then gave us a time limit at each stop. The park we went to was something we could have done on our own for free so I felt $14 pp was a little expensive.I still had a great time and loved the waterfalls!If you're in the area stop at PEEC and pick up some maps of the area and do your own waterfall tour.

Found this online and went here for a few hikes, but also went into the education center, which was terrific for teaching kids about habitats, the environment, nature, etc. We had a guide who was super-enthusiastic about her mission to teach kids to love and understand the great outdoors and she was really inspiring. We saw inside there a beaver's dam (no beaver) that kids could enter and see what it was like underneath, a bald eagle's nest (no eagle), interesting exhibits about the relative energy required to power different lights, fossils, animal tracks, etc. It was also small enough that it wouldn't be overwhelming for small kids. There are a number of marked and not too challenging, yet interesting and pretty trails from this area. On one there were some small fossils kids could find in the rocks. Printed trail guides would describe different points of interest along the trail to teach people what to look for and what they were seeing. We were really pleased we'd stopped. They also offer overnite visits fairly cheaply to groups of kids and adults, so perhaps we'll come back w/ a group.

We hiked the Tumbling Waters Trail and the waterfall was amazing! It has 3 miles and we hiked it in under 2 hours with a baby on our back. Wear hiking shoes, as the trail can get rocky. The education center was nice and my daughter liked looking at the animals on display. We will definitely come back here to hike!!!
