I am very glad that you enjoyed your time at Reid's, and that you got to meet Nick...he is definitely very knowledgeable about wine, and entertaining as well. Hi,Thanks for visiting, and thanks for the positive review. I am glad that you and your girlfriends had a good time when you visited the winery. We are hoping to move out of the bottling area at some point in the future, but it is also neat to see where all of the magic happens with the bottling and winemaking. We hope to see you again in the future, I will definitely let Andi and Jeanne know that you enjoyed your time with them!

Hello,Thank you for visiting and thank you for your feedback on your visit. We definitely appreciate to hear from all of our customers. With regards to the tasting policy- we do charge for tastings, because we are a smaller winery, and it helps us to cover some of the costs for tastings. Also, we give a full one ounce pour, which typically helps people to be able to get a better impression of a wine, because you get more than one sip, and it is larger than a sample you would get from most wineries that do not charge for tastings. If you are interested in trying more wines if you stop by again, feel free to let us know, and we can decrease the size of the samples so that you can taste a wider variety of wines for the cost. Thanks! Have a great day.

Hello,Thank you for your feedback and for visiting us. I am glad that you enjoyed your time at the winery. We are hoping in the future to be able to allow dogs into the tasting room if we move to a new space, but because we also do the wine-making and bottling in the tasting room, we do not want anything to happen to the equipment or to your animals. Thank you!

Hi Michelle,Thanks for the great review! Keep an eye on the website for your trip back in November, I am not sure if we are making strawberry wine this year, but we should have something new in the works by then.

We stopped here after our first day at Gettysburg and ended up enjoying the stop very much! The pours were HUGE ( I think we ended up with almost two full glasses of wine,) and the wines were nice and nicely priced. The women who were working were very nice and they also had a nice selection of other items like peach butter which we ended up going home with a jar of. The house that the winery is in is Jennie Wades birthplace, the only civilian killed in the battle of Gettysburg. I would definitely make a stop here! The tastings were 5 for $5 or you could purchase a glass of wine for $5.00.

We followed the signs and found this little gem of a place. A small winery, family owned. They'll take the time to talk to you - make you feel like you're part of the family. share their stories, etc. They also have weekend events (haven't made it there yet) ~ but it is on the list of things to do in the future. No doubt we will visit again!

We were coming back from lunch and saw a parking space out front of their Gettysburg location. What a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed our time there. Their wine was a little different in some respects, and I mean that in a good way. They varied slightly from the norm with delicious results. I enjoy reds and I found 2 that were absolutely fabulous. Wish I would have bought more. Next time we're in the area we plan to stop at their winery and bring the bigger car.
