We sent to South Shore for a Saturday morning tasting. This was definitely a cool tasting room! We went downstairs into a huge vaulted stone wine cellar. It was beautiful! We spent some time with Ken in the tasting room. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the wines. Our favorites were the Bare Bones White and the Traminette. It was definitely a unique experience and we will definitely go back.

South Shore Wine Co is in the heart of the Lake Erie wine region. The architecture of the building is very interesting. You go downstairs inside and are in a basement with stone walls. It is cool which is great in the summertime. The wines are good, not our favorite, but definitely worth a visit. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. As usual in PA, there isn't a place to sit and enjoy a glass/bottle. But they have a large bar area for tastings.
