Lakeview is a little off the beaten path, but it is most definitely worth the short detour. What a wonderful place!! The countertops of the bar are filled with sand and treasures from beaches all over the world. The owner took us on a little 'tour' of the beaches which was very interesting. The wine was wonderful! My husband and I really enjoyed the Shipwreck White. The owner was more than happy to talk with us about his wines and his experience opening the winery. There was a lovely view of the lake from the windows in the back of the tasting room. We will definitely go back!

Do not make a trip to Erie Wine Country without stopping here! This beautiful, upscale winery boasts a fabulous view, wonderful wines and hospitable owners. Lakeview is one of our favorites!

On our tour of the wineries; we had visited about 7, many of which weren't really knowledgable about their wines but were only there to pour. How refreshing to come upon this upscale winery, The gentleman/owner knew his wines and they actually spoke for themselves. Hats off to our favorite winery of our tour. We will return.

It was absolutely great to meet the owners and enjoy their wine. My wife and I were blown away that the owners would take time to talk to us and get to know us. We will definitely visit Lakeview Wine Cellars every time we are in the area. They have by far the best view to sit, relax, and enjoy some amazing wine.

My husband and I love travelling to wine country for tastings. This is by far our favorite winery! Sam and Becky gave us a tour of the winery which was really cool. They are so passionate about their wines. And they are very nice and friendly people. The tasting room is spacious and clean. They have an excellent selection of wines!! My husband drove to North East to get a case of the Red Sky (sweet) for me for Christmas!! We also love the complex oaky wines they have. The prices are very reasonable; we usually end up with at least 1/2 a case. Their dog, cab is adorable. We have never been, but they have concerts in the summertime. We will be back soon.

Lakeview has a nice selection of wine and this year we were quite pleased with the ones we tasted, more so than other wineries in the area.

Great selection of wines, especially if you like the dryer or oak wines, but they have a wine for every taste. The location could not be better, right in the middle of the Lake Erie wine trail in PA and on the border of NY. Great place to start or finish your wine tour.

Friendly, kind, knowledgeable wine tasting experience. The owners are it! They do it all from pouring to creating the wines. The wines were some of the best we tasted in the area! Allow time if they are not busy to talk to Sam who shares his wealth of knowledge about wine. We bought the blend....Shipwreck Red.
