the location and design were great .what wasn't was the fact that my brother died in viet nam in 1968 and his name is not on the memorial .I made several phone calls and was told I would be contacted but never was. I was told I could buy a brick with his name on it I want my brothers name on the wall with the other men and women who sacrificed their lives .I think he deserves it. bob mcguigon

All inclusive memorial to Veterans of all wars! Delaware County should be proud! Was really surprised that this small county could put together such an impressive memorial.

We had no idea that such a fabulous memorial was right in our backyard. A must see for every veteran. Very well done

Located on West Chester Pike (PA Route 3), west of Newtown Square, PA. As has been said by my predecessors, it is a very moving experience. For the names on plaques and on the walls and floor, it is a tribute to any and all veteran of any war fought in the name of our country. Added to that are quotes by presidents and war leaders going forward from the War of 1812 to the present. If one wishes to add a name, forms are on site to do so. As already mentioned, the architecture and the site add to ones feelings, even if one does not have a name in the memorial, or even if your memorial is in another town or State

I visited with my children to show them the many people who lost their lives fighting for our country. It is beautifully designed. Very artistic. The time and dedication spent in the design and construction of this terrific memorial is evident in every way. The symbols, the fountain - everything pays a moving tribute to the lost loved ones who gave all. My children placed a prayer in the memory urn, which really gives the Memorial a very personal feeling to it.

The time and effort put into this veterans memorial is truly remarkable. It is more than just beautiful, it is a place to reflect, remember and give thanks to all of our fallen and living veterans. This standing tribute is a must see for all.

Very nice Memorial to both living and deceased Veterans from Delaware County (including yours' truly). Easy to view from West Chester Pike before Edgemont Square. There is the American Flag in full view and descriptions of the some of the engagements that these Veterans had to part.
