The beer garden is really a place where you can buy beer, chilled, by the bottle. Huge selection, categorized and alphabetized. When I popped in recently at 4 PM on a weekday to find a specific brand for a visiting friend, I was surprised to find 5-10 people sitting in there, sipping on their beers. Not my scene, but a friendly enough one. It's not what I think a "beer garden" is,like in Europe, where you sit outside, with trees/greenery, and waitstaff serves beer plus food to go with it.The attached pizzeria is pretty good. If you eat there with kids, they give the child a ball of dough to play with while you wait. The ambiance is kind of retro, but it's a friendly neighborhood place. Pinocchio's is generous to the community. It's one of my two favorite pizza spots in the Media area.

Visiting a friend for the weekend and she suggested this place. It was one of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in my life..no flavor, floppy crust.
