The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has become a film makers home away from Hollywood due to the state of the art facilities recently built to attract more members of the film industry to this area, and the wonderful CMU facilities located in nearby Oakland. If you are in the area in the fall, winter, or spring be sure to take a trip to the suburban McKeesport Little Theater located in McKeesport, PA. The theater is situated in a former synagogue on Coursin St. It's a lovely residential area of large old victorian style homes. The theater is a small venue in which every seat is a good seat. This community theater supports both a junior troop of actors who produce plays for younger theater goers and an older troop of various aged actors from in and around the Pittsburgh area. Everytime I go, it seems that the productions get better. I especially enjoy their musical productions. The last time I went the cost of the ticket was $15.00, however, it may be a few dollars higher now.
