We geocache and visited Seven Tubs as the result of a geocache located there. It's worth a visit ... we took dozens of pictures as we hiked toward the top.

First thing is they do not have good signs to show you where to turn off the main road . when you turn right into this place go to the second parking lot then walk back the paved walkway once you reach the walking bridge you can go left before the bridge or go right after the bridge We enjoyed the trails . very clean . We went in December and the waterfalls were great ! water has left its mark in the stone making beautiful ravines . pretty place for pictures . Your dogs would love it here . No bathrooms , and not handicap accessible . would not recommend strollers either.

I really love going to this area. It is a wonderful county park, about 20 minutes from downtown Wilkes-Barre. There are natural tubs, that flow into each other! There are also trails for hiking, that are marked off! Easy to enter a stream, adjacent to the tub area. It is a free park with plenty of free parking. Since there are no lifeguards, swimming is not available. However, it is a nice place to hang your feet to cool off on a hot day; and a nice area to find a peaceful place to relax.

I was in the Wilkes-Barre area and read about this local park. I decided to check it out. It is a very scenic and natural area. Running water cascades down a rock ravine and several pools have formed in the rocks. There are trails to walk and one is very rugged and hilly. There was another trail to the right of the footbridge that you will cross in which the terrain slowly sloped upward and this was not a tough walk. The trail that goes to the left off of that bridge is steeper and you better have good hiking shoes. Many people were taking photos. Some of them looked like pros. Some people were bathing in the pools although signs posted say that's not allowed. But there were some areas where you could be alone on the trails and all you would hear is the gushing water. The temperature under the canopy of trees was cooler. You may want to bring some bug spray. There was a small picnic area. I'm glad I went. It is relaxing there.

The tubs is a nice walk in the woods along the woodland stream. Very interesting formations through the rocks. I imagine in the stream when the water is higher they would be very impressive. However, the county and the state park commissions need to get their act together. Very little signage on sr 115 alerting cars where to turn. Then, once at the parking lot no map at all of the various trails around the stream and tubs natural formation, even though there is a nice large wooden information board. Perfect to show the trails and where the "7 tubs" were located.Nature did its work, it would be nice if the county and state did theirs!

Pretty small area and easy trail. Would not plan a day here but would be a nice lunch stop with fun water features

Made a stop here with my 8 and 6 year old and my husband to explore. It was just breathtaking! The stream, to rocks, to trees...just amazing! The different colors of green all around me left me in awe! I got some wonderful family photos that I will cherish as favorites. Wish there was a larger sign to help us find it (we went past it and then had to turn around to see the tiny little sign at the entrance). Also, a bathroom area or map of the trail at the beginning would have been helpful. If I lived close by, it would be a trail I would frequent regularly!!

Hiked the river and falls on a recent rip. Beautiful scenery with the only downside being trash - it was empty when I was there, but clearly had been popular earlier in the day. Not exactly what you want to see on a nature hike.

It was amazing. Didn't have to walk to far to see the seven tubs. The water was so clear and cold. Great place for pictures and hiking. The hills were a bit steep, but there was some flatter trails. Overall it was breathtaking.

As a moderately experienced hiker, I can say that this area is one of my absolute favorites. It's a very easy walk, with beautiful waterways & rock formations. The creek is surrounded by well-blazed trails, with many partially-blazed areas to go explore. There are numerous private nooks & perches in which to enjoy some peaceful solitude. Be aware: It could be quite treacherous for small children, if you go off the main walkways. For safety, I would also avoid entering the water anywhere near the falls/tubs.At the far end of the waterway/trails the creek goes through a tunnel, beneath train tracks. On the other side of the tracks is private property. There's not much to see anyway, so not worth crossing the track.Get here if you can. The hike isn't strenuous & the views are fantastic. Note: Trailhead is the paved walkway, opposite the parking lot.

Recently hike the loop trail and would have hike the Audubon trial had we had more time. Recent rain had the water flowing very well which made it all the better.

Just a short walk in the woods and you have rolling waters - as clear as can be - and waterfalls galore! How cute!! Got some great pics!

WE recently hiked the trail to the top of the mountain on one side and back down on the other. It's a moderately easy hike with some awesome views. Well worth the effort and since our daughter lives nearby I know will be going here again. Very pleasant and relaxing excursion.

I have been going to 7 Tubs almost daily for years, and it is a great (free) place to hike, walk the dog, and swim. It was a hidden and unknown gem a few years back, but in the last year or two, it is getting more and more crowded. Lately, the visitors have been getting younger and younger, and it is no longer the enjoyable place it once was. However, if you are in the area, the trails are worth a hike. The rock formations that have been cut and smoothed by the water flow are gorgeous, and the hikes are relatively short and easy. You might want to stay away during hot and sunny Summer days, as the crowds are mostly made up of white trash, rowdy, teens, who drink, litter, and swim.
