We were a little apprehensive about reserving at this hotel after reading mixed reviews. We found the rooms to be large, comfortable and clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast could have been better and more nutrious. There are problems with the room keys (cards) which we had to change three times in order to enter our room. All in all you get a good deal for your money.

I previously wrote a positive review of the Spa at Nichols Village. It since has changed to "Artistic Elegance Spa." Having had good experiences before, I decided to splurge and take advantage of a massage special - 85 minutes with special creams, etc. I was very dismayed to realize that the massage lasted no more than 70 minutes. This was acknowledged by the desk clerk, who noted what time I exited the massage room, as well as what time I arrived at the spa (I was only at the spa 90 minutes total, including paperwork, undressing, waiting 5-7 minutes in the "quiet" room, and redressing). I left this information on the comment card I was asked to complete, but received no follow-up from management. Note also that the spa now automatically adds 18% gratuity. I won't be returning.

Nice property for the area, good service, and the restaurant has a lot going for it. If you find yourself heading to Clarks Summit this is the spot to stay. Near shopping and good place to stay and ski Elk mtn.

My fiance' and I came to the spa here on Sunday, simply because it was the only one opened on a Sunday and figured we'd give it a shot. What a mistake! We did a couples massage and they were wayyyyy to invasive, we made a joke to each other did we miss the memo and maybe Sunday was swingers day?! Not only that, they were way too rough. There was nothing therapeutic about that and we were sore for several days afterward. My shoulders and clavicle area STILL feels not right even a couple weeks afterward. The two "massage therapists" should heed some advice, the walls are THIN. Wish we had we heard them talking about us BEFORE leaving gratuity. Trust me, wait for a weekday, go to Sapphire instead.
