I have been there a couple of times over the years and it does not get old. Red deer are smaller than elk and larger than white-tail deer. You go on a hay ride through the fields and get to feed the red deer. I suggest you splurge for the big bucket of feed for the best time.

Excellent source of family fun and entertainment! The host is a wealth of knowledge if you take the time to ask questions.

We really enjoyed the tour the price was great and it was not that hard to find. The deer themselves were amazing and well worth the bumpy tractor ride to go see them. My only complaint was the old man giving the tour kept repeatedly pointing out to the 4 small children we had with us (ages 3-6) which deer he was going to send to the butchers next week. I am just glade they were so excited they didn't listen to a word he said. so if your kids are not good with stuff like that choose a different animal park or petting zoo which dosnt tell you how they plan on slitting Bambi,s throat in the morning,.

This tour is not expensive or fancy and could be a fun adventure for the family. It is not a Lake Tobias but something else to do when visiting Knoebels Grove. A warning though for young children. The tour guide ( owner ) tells a lot of stories/jokes about deer that is better suited for a hunting camp. I understand this is a breeding farm but children do not need his comments about people / sex . He really needs to adjust his info when it is ALL families on the wagon tour.

My husband and I stopped at the Deer farm. We had a great time feeding the deer. One of the males came right up the back steps of the wagon for a treat. It was an awesome day. I recommend this trip to anyone who had kids.

We loved this place! We learned so much about these majestic animals. The kids loved the tractor ride and feeding the red deer. We will definitely go back. They only toilet was a porta-potty. The prices were very reasonable and the couple who owned this farm were pleasant and great tour guides! Did not like supporting a farm who promotes fenced in hunting but otherwise it was a wonderful day!

We have been there many times since it first opened. It has grown to a first class family adventure. The hayride is an experience with the owner giving an unforgettable trip with wonderful stories.

Thoroughly enjoyable educational adventure for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Our girls 5 and 7 loved the wagon ride and seeing and feeding the HUGE red deer. They are much bigger than whitetail deer and very friendly. The owners are very helpful and informative. The tractor and wagon tour is about 30-40 minutes and you see the female deer and young deer first and you can feed and pet them. They come right up to the wagon and you hand feed them the apple biscuits provided by the farm. Next you see the male deer with their enormous antlers. They are also very friendly and you can feed and pet them too. The farm also has a small gift shop with tshirts, antler crafts, and a wide variety of venison products right from the farm so you know its fresh! An adult tour is $8 and the kids prices are less. We also bought some tshirts and venison jerky which is excellent! We found this place while we were in the area for Knoebels. It is a definite must see!

Oh it was a great place to take the kids or even go by yourself loved to feed the deer or watch the one deer stand on his back legs to get his treat.

I have been visiting the red deer farm since my boys were young, they are now adults & I still love coming back with friends.Dolly & George are awesome & share so much info about red deer (elk),the red deer meat is great also but most of all it is great how George calls the deer by name & they come right to the wagon, last year a deer gently took a biscuit from my mouth, great time, great people & great price.Karen Yeager

Dolly and George are wonderful owners. They enjoy entertaining their tour groups. The amount of red deer that you can see is amazing, and being able to hand feed some is great.

This place was recommended by a friend from work and I'm glad we checked it out. The owners are very friendly and the husband/ tour guide is quite a character. The kids (7-15) all loved this part of our trip and have never seen deer this close let alone hand feed them. The trip was educational in learning about deer and the differences in breed. They sell meat and the Summer Sausage and jerky are quite good. Do yourself a favor and call ahead as they run the tours on the hour and sometimes host youth groups.

My family and I visited the Red Deer Farm and had such a great time! The owner & tour guide was delightful. He educated us about the deer, but did it in such a way that the children didn't realize that they were getting a lesson. He was funny & very personable! It was such a bargain at $8 per adult & $4 for children. Each bucket of feed was only $1! The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hr. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

A great experience for all of us! We were so surprised at how close the deer get to the tour, and the kids enjoyed feeding the deer by hand and even having a few take the deer from their mouths. Our kids liked this more than going to the amusement park! The owners are friendly and the tour guide is a character which added to the experience.
