The Village Artisans always has something interesting on the shelves. The products are primarily made locally and the craftsmanship is very good. Some items have been on the shelves for some time...years in some cases, but there is usually something new to see each time you visit. It is worth a few minutes of your day to stop in and see what's there.

This is a beautiful shop of original artwork. The owner, PJ, will tell you about the artist whose piece you are eyeing and show you other samples. She features Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen artists, but does include some from out of state. Voted best in Cumberland Valley for 2011, 2012, 2013 for shopping. I buy the gifts I want to stand out at the Artisans. I bought a hand painted silk jacket for my mother for her birthday - she loved it. Worth the trip.
