the crooked canvas

A GREAT time EVERY time.We have now come to the Crooked Canvas three times and plan on many many more.We did not paint on the grand opening day but the other two times have done the weekend adult classes.The "classes" are really just getting advise as a group from the artist (Toph) who paints along with you to a specific painting. You can also paint anything else you would like and he will give you advise if wanted. He also offers private lessons for people who either take their art a little more seriously or just don't want to be in a group.Beer and wine coolers go so well with painting....lol and are always available for purchase.We have even just stopped in for a drink as there is really a cool vibe in this place.Sundays are family days and a bit more kid themed. Kids also just love the HUGE chalk board wall and are always doing fresh drawings. Fun to see."Open Painting" is offered at all times and is crazy reasonable. Everything is supplied and you leave with your masterpiece.Crooked Canvas also has art displayed and for sell by local artists, including very cool handmade jewelry.A breathe of fresh air for a cute little town.
