cottage winery and vineyard

While I have found that most Wisconsin wines don't appeal to my palette, Cottage Winery is worth stopping by for a tasting. We sampled both wines produced on-site and from other regions. Joel was knowledgeable and fun to chat with as we sipped. The property is quite lovely; it's no wonder why it is often utilized as a wedding venue.

This is a beautiful place.The wine is delectable,The staff is marvelous. It is nestled in the beautiful hills outside of Menomonie, Wisconsin, and a great place to watch the sunset, or spend a delightful Sunday afternoon. I love to go out and interact with the staff and other wine aficionados.

Cottage Winery is nestled in the rolling hills of Dunn County just a few miles North of Hwy 94 on County Road F. The hills are rolling and the winery is a quaint building with views on all sides. Bring your camera especially in the fall when the leaves are full of color. The wine room is small but a very friendly staff & owner welcomes you and makes you feel right at home in the tasting room. Taste local wines and wines of the region. You can bring your favorite glass or bottle of wine out on the patio and try the cheese & cracker plate with cheese and sausages made from local establishments, what a treat to sit on the patio at Cottage Winery. I would highly recommend to make a trip out to the winery when you are in Menomonie.
