We had bought some discount tickets from groupon as something different to do. I took my 4 kids ages 1, 3, 5 and 6, my brother in law and my in laws. They show two different movies and because we were short on time we only had one choice. We went to see a show about microscopes. It was a bit over my kids heads but I enjoyed it and it was only about 30 min long. After the show the guy who ran it...who was just great!...showed us the different stars we would be able to see that night and showed us some other constellations. Then after that he took us for quite a ride! We went on a virtual rollercoaster which really made me feel like I was on one! Totally worth it just for that! But over all we all had a good time!!

I liked the presentation at the Planetarium. The show was so interesting for adults and children alike. I attended with my niece and two great nieces and we all enjoyed the show. I think this is a beautiful place to visit and everyone should go.

A planetarium show is definitely worth a visit! Tay is such an energetic and knowledgeable person, and he is worth the visit alone for his explanations of the night sky! After every show he explains what you can see in the night sky so you can see for yourself at home. Good for adults and children alike, but they usually offer shows that cater to both demographics individually.

I took my 9-yr-old daughter and 5-yr-old son to the planetarium's family night. We saw the "MoonWitch" show and the kids really enjoyed it. It was amazing to see the presentation in their dome theater and then after they showed us constellations in the area. We were also able to look through a high powered telescope outside afterward. Although there were too many clouds to look at any stars or planets, the people working at the planetarium explained things about the telescopes and the green lasers that they use to do their presentations. I would definitely go back again.
