When my kids and I went to visit the in laws this is the only place my mother in law wanted to go...it's all she talked about for weeks...but sadly I think it was the last time she would go. It's nice b/c it's free to get in, but you have to pay extra for everything! We got caramel apples which were really good...but you had to pay extra for to go containers. The nice thing is that they will cut them for you which made it much easier with the little ones! I bought a few nice items from the gift shop that were reasonable priced. The kids loved feeding the animals, especially on the conveyer belt for the goats. I was a little disapointed that you had to pay for things inside the farm. For instance you had to pay .50 per child to play on the playground! Their website says that it is geared more to toddlers so I thought charging was a bit much for that. It was cool they had bikes for the kids and swings and slides... And the corn maze was 2.75 a person. And because we went on a weekday there weren't any extras like the tractor ride...although there were quite a few people there. We got some hot drinks at the little cafe and they were very good and the cafe was fun to look through. They also serve lunch but sadly we missed it but a few minutes. But the menu looked great, although there isn't much seating. They also has wagons you could use which was really nice.

If you are in the Fond du Lac, Wis area this is a great stop for some apple treats and other attractions. Just the drive from Fond du Lac to The Little Farmer is worth the trip as the highway runs along a ridge and you can see Lake Winnebago below you off to the west. My Granddaughter and I went on a weekend in October so it was busy but the parking area which used to be an apple orchard is large and holds a lot of cars. There are several farm buildings with different attractions but we came for their caramel apples so the barn with the longest line was our place. This is a well organized operation and the line moved quickly thru the building. The reasonably priced apples came in three sizes and you can have them left whole or cored and sliced. We had several orders so they fixed us up with a box to hold it all and since we came today only for the apples we headed back to Fond du Lac. There are several attractions at the farm where you can spend 3-4 hours. These are all listed along with a phone number, if needed, on their website: http://www.mytlf.com so check them out. By the way, even after the 10 mile drive back home the caramel was still soft and delicious. Well worth the trip!!

The little farmer is a great place to spend a few hours. It has an arts and crafts shop. Also the bakery is amazing fresh pies, breads, and muffins. But the best thing there is the Carmel apples you can't skip them

We were lucky to go on a weekday when the kids were out of school for a half day. There weren't many people, and the kids were able to do everything except the hay ride with no lines. The pumpkins are a great value. The kids loved playing on the hay stack. I personally loved the caramel apples and the apple pie. Both are a must if you go. They even have a fainting goat, but we didn't get to see it faint. Bummer because those are my favorite. The kids were able to feed the goat that was at the top of the ramp. They loved it!

This is a wonderful place to go with your family and children. They have great food and treats. The only issue is that everyone else knows about it as well. The best thing to do is go during the week. Weekends are insane during the fall. We go there each year. Waiting in the lines for the treats has become part of the routine. They have a great play area for kids. Animals are fun to watch. And the hayride is also enjoyable.

We had so much fun at The Little Farmer! We started our day there with a hayride that took us through some of the apple orchard, past the pumpkin patch and the corn maze, and through the woods. After the hayride we went through the corn maze and we were able to find all the animal tracks! The corn maze was one of the better we have been to. The corn was tall and the maze was somewhat challenging. You do not want to miss out on the caramel apples! We waiting in line for about 15 minutes. It was a busy Sunday when we went but it was worth the wait. The caramel was warm and you were able to chose your topping. I'm sure we will make this an annual fall adventure!
