My wife and I visited the menominee casino last night after a friend told us they had rebuilt the old casino. In my opinion it was the same pig in a new dress. Small, smokey, tight slots, and it appears that this is where all the locals go for entertainment. Everybody knew each other, and groups of people would gather around to watch one person gamble and whoop it up. Also a lot of people just sitting at the machines without playing them, while they watched the band or a group of people talking. Very annoying, because you couldn't get to machine you wanted without being a part of their group, or had to ask someone if they were going to play it. Good for the locals, but not a place I want to visit again.

Inexpensive, outstanding seafood special. It even included PRIME RIB and ice cream! Even won at the casino. Stayed at Boarder Inn in Shawano and got a matchplay.

We've been going to the Menominee Casino since it opened. They've gone through many changes throughout the years. Now they have a brand new casino and have remodeled the existing areas. We went for the first time this past weekend. Unfortunately I was not impressed. First, it's smaller than I expected. I don't know statistics, but I don't think there are any more slots than there used to be - except that they are now all in one place rather than spread betweens rooms and buildings. I also was surprised that (from what I could see) there was one restroom area in the casino. Yes there are restrooms in the lobby of the hotel/conference center and near the restaurant, but not conveniently located in the casino. The entertainment area was VERY small! And with next to no seating. Granted, they have a horseshoe area with seating right in front and then behind it as well...but nothing like they used to have. There is a snack bar which was not yet open, however it looks very small, again with not much seating room. Another big negative for me is that there is NO no smoking section! Rumor has it that they believe their ventilation system is supposed to take care of that - take it from me - it DOESN'T! Nearby casinos do offer non-smoking sections. On the plus side, beverage stations are convenient (although Pepsi products-yuck), there is a bar which is pretty nice, and, my favorite thing - employees actually CLEANING! Menominee used to be a very dirty casino - at least for now they have made that a positive change!

I visited the Menominee Casino yesterday. It was "average". It is in need of some major updating, which I saw first hand was in progress. Kind of a small casino with a little bit of a confusing layout. I think it is one big space, but it is kindof made up of three separate rooms...but all connecting. At least, that is what I made from it. Machines did not pay out at all for me. It was a much older and seemed to be more of local crowd.I think most of the people visiting on Monday were seniors...for Senior Day, but I think the gambling was an afterthought. They were all there for the $4.99 chicken buffet! The line to get into the restaurant was long and constant from at least 11 a.m to 3:30ish. Even tho the lines were long, it moved rather quickly and you were inside pretty quick. The smoke was minimal, but it was there. Only really bad if you sat next to a smoker and they were blowing it out or holding their ciggie in your direction. A rather different way to get your free play. Interesting little buttons on the machines, rather than more of the touch screen type buttons, found on most if not all other slot machines.Glad I went to experience what it has to offer, but probably wont be back there any time soon.

Sunday brunch is awesome. Delicious food and plenty of variety. It is well organized and they have plenty of seating. We will for sure be back

We regularly stay here when we come up to see family. After the hotel underwent a much-needed renovation a couple years ago, we have stayed here even more. Nice rooms, great beds. The casino itself is extremely smokey, which is unpleasant, and that means I only spend short bursts in the casino. The machines are pretty good, and you get a $10 free play on your card for each day of your stay, which is nice. I have great hopes for the installation of the new air filtration system that they're currently working on, and the expansion currently underway is exciting.

Wow! Not since Mole Lake has there been a casino geared towards ALL groups/ages of gamblers with interesting promotions for pretty much everyone. Monday is senior day with 5 pts. for $10. on your card, as well as a $5.00 chicken dinner buffet... Thursday is the youngsters turn to do the same. It is our own faults if we lose on this promotion! There are also other trinkets from the MVP booth you can obtain for points earned or redeemed, the Wednesday wheel spin, and oh yah they do bingo and table games too. Thanks Menominee for thinking about all of your customer base rather than strictly being geared towards seniors or tour bus guests (not that I have anything against these people whatsoever). They also offer $59.00 rooms during the beginning of the week (which include free breakfast- $3.00 value, and $15.00 in free to play per guest) which is a great deal. I would advise bringing double the amount you had planned on as there is a deposit required if you are paying for your room with cash, so be prepared for that. Once you check into your room, you may not want to leave it as the rooms are higher scaled than most casino resort hotels in the area.

Love to be entertained but find that they will not listen to what the people that support there business want...

Menominee Casino Resort in Keshena, Wisconsin is a little out of the way but, if you’re in the area of Green Bay it’s about 45 miles northwest and it could be an adventure. The Casino was clean but, the air conditioning just couldn’t clear the odor of cigarette smoke. They have a good variety of slots, reasonably loose, and table games, in the evening. The restaurant was clean and the food, sandwiches were “Tasty”! But the best thing going for Menominee is the employees and the people in general. We’ve been there several times and never were “Surprised”!

Better for Bingo lovers, this casino is smokey, crowded, and unattractive. The entertainment area is small also and located close to the doors which can be drafty. Food at the casino is average at best.

My husband and I stayed at the Menominee Hotel/Casino this weekend with another couple. Wonderful time was had by all. We found the staff to be very helpful and cheerful. The room was comfy and very clean. Pool area was big and very nice. The buffet was very good with crab legs and prime rib on Saturday. Area Code band in the lounge in the casino was great fun and the $3.00 drink special the Pink Dragon was delicious. Very adequate number of machines to choose from in the casino many of which were new. I especially enjoyed playing the Aladdin one--the chair moved when you got a bonus like you were flying on a magic carpet. Unfortunately none of us came home winners but feel we were very well entertained!!!

Staff was very unfriendly Blackjack tables crowed even though they had enough staff and tables to make it better. Craps was a joke small table and very picky on you must grab the dice and throw them,just not fun and why else would you be if not to have fun.

Have been there multiple times, sometimes winning and sometimes losing. Like any casino, careful what you spend!

I'm not a big fan of casinos, but do go occasionally. This is a very nice building with a nice sized casino. Good location for business meetings too!
