Kids who can run and play will enjoy this. You can sit close by and watch them well. You can go "in" to the playground and be closer if you wish. Kids always have fun here where they can walk, climb, swing and meet new friends.

My family likes this park because there is so much to do for almost every age. Rarely do your kids have to wait for a swing because there are many. The Roller Slide is always a hit too. Also, it resides right next to the Palmer Wading Pool. Kids HOT from playing, COOL down in the pool!

I just wanted to answer a question asked below. The reason for the playground name is listed on a plaque at the entry to the playground.Camden Hookstead is the nephew of one of the co-founders of the organization and he was the reason this playground was built. When it came time to actually name the playground, it couldn't be named for a person, so it was called CAMDEN aka Community Accessibility Medium Dealing with Exceptional Needs.I hope that helps you understand why this special playground is called CAMDEN playground, and not Palmer Park (as it is located within Palmer Park). :)

The playground is wonderful for kids big and small. I'm not sure why it is not listed as Palmer Park, as this is just one of the playgrounds in the park. They feature a large wading pool for kids 8 and under that I have been taking my kids to since they could walk. The pool charges $1/child, a very reasonable price. We only go in the summer and have yet to explore the whole park.

Camden playground is a great place to play! We are new to the Janesville area and both my 7 and 4 year old have a great time!

This playground is fun. It's structure is made of wood.The theme is a castle.At the entrance there is a green alligator to greet you.There are 2 bridges,a slide made of metal rollers that spin when children slide down.Swings for tweens and toddlers.There is a little version of a house that you can pretend play.There are a lot of platforms that connect and go up then go down.Some are not very large.So sometimes you have to let one person pass in order for you to continue on.The parking lot was spacious.The bathrooms were not open. Probably because it is still early in the season.There is plenty of fun here.You can bring a picnic lunch and a blanket and enjoy a few hours there.

Our handicapped accessible playground allows ANY and ALL children to enjoy the park. Fun for young and old.
