We try to go horseback riding everywhere we vacation. We've ridden in beautiful locations like Galena, IL and Sedona, AZ, yet this is our absolute favorite place to ride because it's not just a mosey around a track on horses that are on autopilot. If you want to go on a trail ride where your horse will trot, canter and jump, then this is the place. The owner (Sonny) and guide are very nice, the horses are well cared for, and the price is very reasonable. We've ridden here twice in the past 5 years (only time we've been to Minocqua in the summer), both for 2 hour rides. This visit was with teenagers, the last visit was with youth, we had happy riders both visits which says a lot if you've ever traveled with teenagers!
