Central Waters is a great alternative to a tavern. Harder to find, tucked away in a business park set down on the side of an overpass. Walk through the doors and wah-la! Nice wooden bar and bistro tables fronting a producing brewery. We arrived at opening time (3pm as of this writing) on Saturday thinking we would be the only ones there....about 8 others are already there enjoying a lively, interesting and very tasty selection of brews hosted by very knowledgeable beertenders. And people kept arriving. We saw people just traveling through, people refilling their growlers, groups of people celebrating various things. Outdoor seating is available on picnic tables in front of the building. Beers are reasonably pricedWide selection of logo'd items. The only food available that we noticed were small bags of various chips.

The brewery is in the middle of nowhere in an industrial park. We want on a Friday night and did the free tour. The tour was pretty much just standing there listening to the speaker. I would pass on the tour and just look around for yourself. And there is no samples afterwards :( We did sample some beers they were all very good. The IPAs and the Bourbon Stout were our favorites. Central Waters definitely has a great selection of beers. Would definitely recommend for u to stop there and sample.

Stopped in to taste a couple of the brews I had heard about. I wasn't disappointed. I'll look for Central Waters Beverages at establishment.

Stopped at Central Waters on a girls weekend. The place was pretty crowded on Saturday afternoon. We tried the sampler and then had a few pints. I really like some of their beers. I believe one was Muddy Waters. Reminded me of Guiness. Bought a few shirts and grollers to take with us. i will definately be back since one of the girls lives in Amherst and we like to visit. My only suggestion would be, maybe another bathroom. There was a constant line for the restroom, and that doesn't work too well with a few beers in you!!

Great, small brewery in a small town. Tap room has items you can't buy bottled in the store. Good tour, good atmosphere, very friendly staff.

Central Waters Brewing Company is a friendly place where tours of the brewery are available on certain days. The sampler offer of brews is great and I highly recommend it if you are into craft beers. It was packed with people when I was there but they still had time to chat with us about the various brews.

Our cottage is only 5 miles from Central Waters Brewing Co, so we have visited on several weekends. The key word is WEEKENDS because it is a small brewery with a tap room, and is just open on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00 - 9:00 pm. The tap room is very popular, the staff is enthusiastic, the beer speaks for itself, and there are always many kinds to choose from. We enjoy taking friends there for an excellent beer or two, and it's so fun to stop in!No food is served at Central Waters, only bags of snacks for sale.Check out Central Waters Brewing Co website ..... http://centralwaters.com/

Central Waters Brewing has been my favorite Wisconsin brewery for several years, but it took me until this past weekend to finally make a point to travel upstate and see the brewery. Visiting the brewery solidified its place at the top of my list.Exiting the freeway, the first thing that caught my eye was the patch of solar panels that let us know that we had arrived. As we would later learn on the tour, Central Waters was recently recognized as being the "greenest" company in Wisconsin. The tap room was packed when we arrived, perhaps because it was Memorial Day weekend. The large bar was easy to access, though, and we were able to order some beers which we were able to take with us on the tour. The tour guide was very personable and excited to tell us all about Central Waters as we walked through the brewery. As it was the only tour of the day, the guide was casual, taking the time to answer any questions the large group posed to him. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating to our many requests, as we were excited to sample the many tasty brews they had available. Samplers were available (you pick 6) as well as growlers to take home. The only disappointment we faced was that the reserve beers were not available in growlers. It didn't take us long to choose a great year-round beer to fill our growler with, though!
